Tuis update is real? someone test it allready? What's the changes of this up? i have the tim 4d2.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
Just installed Tim 4d2 version on a "Superpad III". (512 MB, 4 GB) and it runs perfectly. Upgraded from 3a (was having issues with 3d, so installed 3a) and now up to 4d2.
Backup with titanium backup, upgrade and restore apps. Everything working smooth.
Most important reason to upgrade: wanted to have CIFS working so I could mount my NAS. That works!!! No more ftp needed to access files on the NAS. Direct mounting is ok!

Just flash my flytouch with this update Tim's 4d3....To many bugs...I downgrade to my 4d2, its really more stable....
Problems with Tim's 4d3...
When i reboot i have some apps that disapear and android icon replace them...
Battery widget on main screen seems to appear and disapear.
Some apps dont open..
Wifi bugs...and more..
Well, im disapointed with this release, but thanks anyway...
Stand on Tim's 4d2 for now..
Keep the good work..
The important thing to do is what the improvements of this release? what this release fix..otherwise its no important to flash this release cause the 4d2 works well...
Question regarding Backup Process with Tims 4d2 ROMS?
When my FlyTouch Arrived I Rooted It and the backed everything up using Titanium Backup, System Files + Applications!
Now that I have Flashed Tims 4d2 ROMS my question is ; If I have problems and want to revert to the original factory System Files + Applications using Titanium Backup. Will this cause issues with TIMS 4d2 ROMS?...I know I should backup TIMS ROMs but his Update comes with so many applications. Can anyone please list which one are vital and also provide a short description of what each Application does or what they are used for?...There are Icons listed that I'm sure serve a purpose, but I don't really know exactly what they do?
$d3, i get same problem. Did backup and restore with Titan etc, and some apps i started..maybe large size ones, disapeared after i went into to them first time and then did a reboot. eg my game Island and IP camviewer, both started ok after restore, but when i did a reboot and went back in, they were not even shown...also if you do a restore in laucherpro should the programs also show in original start screen as i only see backups in laucher startup.
why do you want revert older system files? there is no way to do that, tims roms have much better improved system files and the tablet is working faster even flash - also have newest revision of Youtube Player etc. And here the rom is pre-rooted so you do not need to do that.
Not that I would want to revert back to the older system. I think what I'm concerned with is; having backed the original system + Applications with Titanium Backup. If I need to send this device back due to issues. Can I restore everything back to the Factory Defaults?
Also, I have an 8 GB SD CARD Installed. I have already backed up the original factory sytem files + Applications. How much space will it take to backup Tims 4d2 ROMS? Can I just transfer the orignial backup folders to another drive, then backup Tims lastest Roms. Will there be issues with attempting to restore the original files, if I just transfer them back to the SD CARD and attempt to restore?....I know the original files are substandard. But if I wanted to do this, will my attempt to restore the original files work?
Why do some of my applications fail to appear on the "Infotm Home" menu? When I switch to Launcher Pro I have programs that fail to show up on Infotm Home, whats up with that?
Thanks heaps Tim, all works fine in my Superpad III except my GPSis not working. Any ideas in this department?
Keep up the great work.![]()

Hi, I used 4d3 and is awesome and stable. Just now installed 4e just now. I hoped I can add shortcut to applications on one of the 3 screens. Sadly I can't. And setting wallpaper also sucks. More yet to come.
Great job Tim. Consider my feedback positively so that you can make improvements if applicable.
Regards!!
Awesome work Tim. I am new to this forum but have been here through a Flytouch 2 and more recently through your awesome updates on the Flytouch 3. ON this current version 4e, I saw you listed bluetooth drivers and gscript to load them. AFter loading this firmware, I don't see the gscript for bluetooth drivers as an icon on the homescreen. So 2 questions...1. Where is this gscript at? 2. Does this mean I can now buy a bluetooth dongle and I will have bluetooth enabled (which would be sweet!!) Thanks again for all your hard work and make this tablet way more that worth the money!!!
Great! Found it and enabled them. Now...does this mean I can pick up some usb bluetooth dongle and have a decently functioning bluetooth working??
Thanks again for the quick reply and the new 4e version seems to be working smoothly everywhere with internet, market, flash, sound, screen, downloads, etc. but haven't finished putting it through all the paces yet. Great job!!
