Root launcher?

Go launcher is a good one. With it you can use go locker, go sms, go contacts, go widgets........ you get the idea

Oh also I stumble across one I think its call Mobo? I found it in Antutu Benchmark. Open Antutu and tap your menu button and then tap "Apps" and youll see it at the bottom. Its actually a pretty cool launcher

thanks man im trying to not use pro launcher on #2 and i tried holo but its slower :/
 
seems like the cheaper or even the free launchers work smoother than paid stuff specially spb or tsf trust me not worth even trying out they are huge process hoggers!!

Haha, spb is AWESOME. Kinda weird on a tablet though... (too much for my phone)
 
I dont know man maybe im too simple i dont need any transition effects i dont need any live wall paper on my home screen i dont need 20 widgets telling me what time it is or if its freakin hot outside geesh i live in florida i damn well know its hot outside.... i dont need 10 things on my status bar im like ive seen screen shots of lots of people in here with 50 things on their home screen wtf is that???? yep im too simple all i need is my time on the corner and a few shortcuts on my screen and im golden.

Lag really? 360 was the best one I was using until I found Holo. Tried 360 launcher?

Before that was ADW with ICS theme.

Holo is the best thing since sliced bread for me. But I also dont have no more than 15 apps on my phone either but Ive never had lag problems out of it. :confused:

Im the EXACT same way. All animations are off. All widgits are uninstalled. I use the bare minimum and it works for me. All that other stuff just eats up battery IMO. But that's me :D

ahgg well the holo launcher i got from ld ick theme... i didnt download the app by itself

Holo is slow for me honestly launcher pro is the smoothest of all even ldrifta talked about it other than that go launcher is smoother on my phone 360 lags adw is second best but I switch between launcher pro and go

damn the only reason i dont like pro is because of the dock :((
 
I think it has a lot to do with how you have your phone set up. Different launchers are going to react different obviously with apps running and animations, widgets, etc....

But this is the first time Ive honestly heard anything bad about Holo or 360. I thought they were fairly universal for everyone.

For the most part though all the "main" popular laucnhers have been good except for launcher pro. It just lacks on everything IMO compared to Go and ADW. ADW can be customized out the wazoo.

But if it aint Holo its 360 for me. :D And Holo aint going anywhere. ;)

i think im gonna try and freeze some apps and see how it works cuz holo looks sexy aff haha
 
Besides the one I use holo launcher I like using sslauncher and Sony Ericsson launcher those are my favorite :-)

I think all that stuff is what makes an Android :/ I would might as well get an iPhone if I thought like that.
 
What settings do you guys have on holo? i found it a bit laggy until i took off the scrollable wallpaper, scrolling cache on high quality, 60 speed and no transitions. tsf runs really smooth on my phone and has gotten better with updates but uses like 30 something ram..

Same here that's why I don't use holo I tried settings but still not as smooth as go or lp
