What does high quality scrolling do?
I cant seem to see a difference of when its on and whens its off.
It is supposed to make the screen less pixelated while scrolling. A total waste imho.

I've installed (and paid for) LauncherPro and LauncherPro Plus. I have set up my 7 screens where I like them using Grid Calendar, Grid Message and other widgets and stuff.
My problem is that my Droid X is a slow as molasses! I can't swipe screens unless I try two or three times. It takes for ever to change screens and some even stop in the middle of a swipe.
What's going on here? I have all the settings set to maximum memory!
Help!
Thank you for posting your appbrain. I got a few great things out of it, primarily Startup Mgr. I now have a LOT more working available memory, now that I'm using it.![]()
This will happen to a lot of people once they give it a try.
I LOVE IT.Mine got SUPER jerky and laggy until I uninstalled the antivirus I had installed.
I am LOVING LauncherPro so far. I can't wait for the update which will hopefully allow the Motorola Contact Widget to work. That contact widget is really the only thing that the stock launcher has over LauncherPro IMO.
Did you add a different anti-virus? Do we really need one?
I wish they could add multitouch support to the home screen. Where you could move two different apps at the same time, small little feature, I don't know if anyone would want it, but I think it would be cool. I wouldn't think it would be that hard, it would be like the multitouch vis test.
It would just save me some time moving icons around if I could grab two at once.
What do you guys think?
Yes a multi select and drag would be useful at times.
+1I bought the plus version to ensure continued development of the product. If you like it, support it.

I downloaded home switcher but even if I set the Moto interface as the default it reverts back to LauncherPro every time I leave and return to my home screen.
I like LauncherPro alot, but I think it also needs to support the Moto resizeable widgets.
Not sure if this is a plus or latest version thing, but now can hide bloatware in the App tray!
Uninstall a program by holding its icon over the trash can until option appears.
If you turn up the memory usage to 'high', you will find that everything operates much smoother.
I have 7 screens filled, using high quality scrolling, 3d app drawer, and nothing lags. It's pretty awesome. I made a little vid as a demonstration.
The audio level is so low, idk why, because it played back so loud on my Droid after I recorded it

I had to uninstall LPP. My UI was all jerkey, even with the option to use high memory. The widgets took forever to load. I'm back to plain android, without using motoblur, much.
Have the same issue. I paid for LPP but ended up having to removing it. I think its a blur issue as LP always has run great. But this was stupid bad and had to uninstall.
Same here. I'm back to stock as well. Seems smoother all-round to me.
