Launchers are always refreshing?!

I've run out of options here. No matter what launcher i run, rather it be Launcher Pro, ADW, LG, or even stock Android, anytime i launch an app and go home it refreshes and gets sluggish. And it only does it after a day or so of use. Wtf am i missing? I've tried rebooting and it may last an hr an im back to the same issue. Any ideas?
 
Its not "refreshing" its gets closed and has to reopen. The ally has 256mb of RAM. Newer phones have 4 times that. It needs the memory for whatever else you are using. Some launchers have an options to try to keep the launncher up, but pretty much the root of your problem is that you have an lg ally and not a dinc.
 
What are you running? If your on Velocity and have a lot of apps Dalvik2Cache enabled and are running with a lot of apps from the SD Card it takes a while for them to load and the launcher will sometimes restart, Especially right after a reboot.
 
what issues with velocity were you having issues with? that's usually something that can be worked out, i don't think its a velocity issue. anyhow, its just a memory thing. i THINK adw and LP have options to keep it in memory or "system persistent" i know i have LESS issues with the launcher getting killed with velocity but it still happens if i go through a few apps then back home
 
After a few days of running Velocity I would have problems sending/receiving texts and sometimes even receiving calls. Never happens when I'm running stock. Found the option on ADW BTW. So far so good
