By using CM11 for another device (github for everything currently), it fails to boot. There was a DMESG posted on page 4Can you get cm11 to build, flash and boot?

What were the build errors? No. We're stuck on a build error. I believe it has something to do with the vendor blobs and them not extracted correctly
Are you talking about the boot verification message? The bootloaders are unlocked?By using CM11 for another device (github for everything currently), it fails to boot. There was a DMESG posted on page 4
If the device is nearly the same then changing the resolution to the advant resolution should fix that.PS, that device has nearly everything the same BUT the resolution (I know, this is a big thing), camera, and POSSIBLY radio
Right now just concentrate on getting the ROM to boot up and get some video going. If the device is nearly the same then changing the resolution to the advant resolution should fix that.
That was what I was thinking. No, I was talking about this:If the device is nearly the same then changing the resolution to the advant resolution should fix that.
Which is what I tried to prioritizeRight now just concentrate on getting the ROM to boot up and get some video going.
For sure a display driver issue. That was what I was thinking. No, I was talking about this:
I think it refers to the screen... As the errors mentiones that an IO isn't working. Seems to be related to the graphics part of the kernel. I could be wrong
For sure a display driver issue.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!! (for me getting at lease one thing right today)Are you using the kernel for kk that Samsung provided?Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!! (for me getting at lease one thing right today)
Now the question -
Is this easily fixable?
Not yet. I was just about to do that actually... Do you want me to still, or are you over that? Are you using the kernel for kk that Samsung provided?
SM-G386T_NA_KK_Opensource.zip?
If your kernel is based off of the lte core phone it probably won't work.Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!! (for me getting at lease one thing right today)

That DMESG is LITERALLY just from a CM11 flash with a modded boot.imgIf your kernel is based off of the lte core phone it probably won't work.
Alright. Your call. I can do something if you'd like and have one of the others test.Hmm... I'll have repo init and get everything setup. Bad thing is my wife has the phone and she works a lot,but I'll see what I can do.

put a zip up and we'll flash away lolI've got the T-Mobile advant so I downloaded just t.Which one did u download the 386T or 386T1?
Someone on XDA had a stock debloated ROM but he took so many things out that it broke WiFi calling and WiFi itself.Have you guys been able to build a stock kernel or a stock kit kat ROM?
Sometimes WiFi calling is added by cell provider. Most cm11 and cm12 ROMs don't have WiFi support, but actual WiFi should work. With what Samsung provided you guys should be able to get cm11 up and going. Cm12 might be a little harder, but should be do able. I'll have to add android cm11 to my build box. Then add the kernel to the build. It looks like the Samsung platform has the common and prirtory files in it.Someone on XDA had a stock debloated ROM but he took so many things out that it broke WiFi calling and WiFi itself.
i thought stock aosp roms only work on nexus devices???First thing first. I say we build a stock 4.4.2 kitkat ROM. Then work our way up to cm.
They're made for them, but you can build other devices off them. Thats what all the phone manufacturers do, but they add their own stuff to the source.i thought stock aosp roms only work on nexus devices???
