Just got around to replying, take your time man. Hell take your well deserved break, you actually found time to make a ROM with 2 full time jobs already (one being a parent) lol. Its a side project if anything, family and work are real life priorities, they come first. I think we all understand that! :D


EDIT: I do have a question for you if your willing to answer before your relaxing break (If you take one lol) is there maybe some file we could copy over from the older builds that would fix the headphone jack audio? I use it for talking on the phone while driving and it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me fix this problem! :D Also, do you have a donate button somewhere? Maybe we could donate a few bucks for you to keep up the good work :)

Please do, what are the differences in the mini and micro gapps? Which are best? Great work on getting the headphone jack fixed, will flash after I decide the gapps lol

I would say after the next update (if its the one that fixes video playback) I would call this ROM a daily driver completely in beta! Moving up from the alpha stage of course, then after the video is fixed all is left is camera then maybe the other dev can port his 5.0 ROM onto here!!

Yeah its practically a beta at this point he has done a good job with this rom. I believe the only issues stopping it from being stable are proximity, video, and camera. A lollipop rom would be amazing especially with battery life this phone only has a 2100 mah battery which is adequate but nothing special. I found some battery replacements on amazon that are 2300 and even 2400 mah respectively. I'm tempted to buy one but I dont know if its good quality or not.

I found one battery that was 4800 mah if I remember right. Of course that was priced just about even with the phone though lol

I think I could live without back camera for a while, the video is one I would love to see fixed. I know on my old phone that one took a month or so to fix with a good Dev and plenty of time on his hands (although he was deving for 4+ devices at the same time)
 
I don't know what everyone else is talking about battery wise because my phone gets same length of time as I do on stock when I'm not using battery saver or whatever the name of the stock power manager is on touchwiz.

Lol you lost me at makefiles. Does it fix a specific issue? BTY when I test run the CM11 The camera said it was unable to connect and FC on me. I admit I didn't really play around with it afterwards. Keep up the good work!
 
Hello from the great white north, eh!

Installed twrp via odin last nite. That went well.

I tried to install the latest build but it only went about 25% and then said 'flash failed'. I'm redownloading the rom again to make sure it wasm't corrupted,

I'll probably get a hold of it once it seems rather complete (unfortunately I do need my back camera for many things), and I'll probably get a hold of it once it's a proper build
 
Once y'all get CM worked out what ROMS are you thinking about building? Vanir Exodus seems to be a good one from what i read. I used their KK4.4.4. for the codinalte Vanir was good Exodus a version of it seems to have good batt life and is fast
