they're actually from a ADW launcher theme

So the "People" Launcher Pro widget is from signals23's XTG theme? How exactly do I find and install that ? I hate the two styles that come with LP by default. And the messaging widget is from the same pack and not part of "PureMessage" ?

the people widget styles will be the same as you have now. they just have transparent backgrounds and different colored accents.

Hmm... Because it looks to me like the People widget set up there has two rows with three columns, while the only ones the default setting shows is either one column that scrolls or three columns and four rows ?

You can resize widgets with Launcherpro. The people widget, in particular, will adapt to the size you make it, changing the number of columns and rows, appropriately.
