Root Lexlite Gingeraid is Awful

Just flashed Lexlite Gingeraid 3.6 onto my GB X and Its restarting every 30 seconds. Tried rebooting multiple times. Cant get it to hard reset. And it wont give me enough time to install the droid 2 bootloader before it resets. I get halfway through installation and it resets. So I guess I have no way to recover back to GB unless i SBF. I think i may just SBF back to stock and use the new liberty. Any ideas? As of now the phone is useless.

with phone off...hold Home button...press and hold power button....you will get to the stock recovery screen...Android Dude with a Triangle that has an exclamation point in it...then hit the two volume keys at the same time...

wipe data/factory reset

^^What he said ;)

I did the same thing today lol. Had to sbf cause even after i tried to wipe data in recovery it still was screwed up in other ways. I've tried his roms in the past and they always got some wacked up crap happening in them. Stay away is my opinion.

The hard reset appeared to have worked. But having seen the new liberty I think im going to just SBF back to 2.2.1. Gingerbread is great and all, but i love the number of roms for froyo.

he very well may have to SBF...but a data wipe should be attempted first...

should try ApeX...its money

I've tried every Rom for the DX. Not a fan of blur Roms. Fission,Rubix are my top choices. Gave up on Liberty. Always buggy. I prefer to Theme for blurless Roms so thats one reason i don't use apex and such.

I prefer to theme for blurless ROMs too, much easier :D

i had the same problem with his ZapX4.1. It would reboot every thirty seconds and not let me install anything. After a factory reset everything worked out and the Rom played nicely with my DX. Seemed to have too many issues with that rom anywyas, so i'm back to rubixblurrybread until something new and exciting comes out.

i actually have had zero problems. i also installed it after a fresh sbf and wiped data and both cache and dalvik cache. battery life is really good and i have had zero force closes or random reboots.

I am running his ZapX 4.1, and I can't seem to overclock. I ran his overclock script but it defaults back to running at 1 GHz... Any ideas?

I've been running "LexLite Ginger 3.6" I rate it right up there with "Fission 2.61."
I have the "Juiced " theme cranking on it .

If you do a clean install with any Rom you"ll eliminate most all issues.

Can hardly wait for Drewgaren's 3.7 update..another masterpiece I'm sure.
:cool::cool:

I use the milestone overclock app which works fine and I also use a program called setvsel. That one allows me to adjust the voltage at each frequency. I also use setcpu for my profiles.
