Root Lg Connect Optimizer - Coming Soon!

Progress Update: Got all kinds of goodies working the way I needed them to last night :) I've just waiting on a little artwork and have to finish one little combo box and do some proof reading and I'm ready for 1.0 :driver: I work late so it will probably be available on the market tommorow! I told my girlfriend to stay at home, I had business to do

Nice ill definitely get it and let us know of course what are the improvements that we expect to have.

So far it has advanced dual-core cpu controls (no other app on the market that i'm aware of does this), as well as a fix for cpu governors and speeds not sticking (rendering other cpu apps useless on this phone lol). That mode allows 3rd party cpu apps like SetCPU work properly if you decide you like those instead. It comes with special modes that reduce heat and cpu usage for hefty 3d apps like google navigation and 3d games like dead space without compromising much or any speed in the actual app.

It's got bloatware removal with descriptions of each thing you want to remove, all independently via their own checkbox so you can add or remove as much or little as you like. Also enable/disable OTA updates.

A tweaks sections for miscellaneous stuff that generally improves performance or battery life, again specific to this phone because I test em out one by one.

It's also got a more modern interface than the Lg Esteem Optimizer, it caters to both advanced and less proficient users.

A storage section with some pie graphs showing you sdcard and internal memory usage,
For this section I've got the SD card booster setting/slider planned for 1.1, I'm just finding contradicting results in current benchmark tools on the market so that's not helping finding the best setting just yet, this phone overall seems to have faster reads from all sd-cards in general vs the esteem with the same sdcard.

The underlying framework has been greatly simplified so that it's much more easily adaptable to other phone models so I can make a generic android version for advanced users. I'm also going to add a useful stuff section to put stuff such as things you can do with your phone, FAQ's, Links, etc...

wouldnt kicking the 2nd core on all the time be bad for battery life??? ;)

Its only kicks on when needed, thus why its not set to be on all the time. ;)

You got it, that's why I have a few modes.
Automatic (default),
force only one core on,
force both on,
advanced (disables automatic core control on/off behavior to let you do whatever you please without it messing around with your governor and min-max speeds. A good example are CPU Profile apps that would normally fight for control because they keep changing settings without knowledge of your phones internal control over that, will no longer act strangely.)

well playful im sure you know that snapdragon is asynchonous processor, not like exynos, tegra and others which run at the same time, battery life is always an issue but if there are other tweaks that can improve battery life it shouldnt be a problem, like setcpu underclock and undervolt while screen is off, but when on you want most optimal performance.

Have to keep in mind tho the kernel as alot of that compiled into it, tho I've not got to play around with it much since I dont have the phone.
