Root LG connect

.3 inches is easy to notice after owning the esteem. i myself, am going to buy the connect for my wife to replace her indulge. if u end up falling in love, ill get another.

on the other hand, the summer is going to be a great line up of voLTE cells with a high possibility of ICS.

for me, the 1gb of ram is the most appealing feature since the esteem is more than powerful enough at 2.2 ghz ...

yea if one already has the esteem, I wouldnt recommend running out n getting the connect at all. But if still on a lesser phone like the ascend/2 or optimus, then yea I would say go for it.

The only thing about the esteem that makes me think of going back to metro is the 4g. Other than that I am still happy with my DX.
 
Technically yes the numbers are better speced but once again, the 512MB RAM in this is enough for me since I do not like many apps running in the background at all times(FaceBook) because of battery life. The DC will not be ANY noticeable difference in every day use unless OC by AT LEAST 33% IMO, and the screen on this is perfectly fine with me, now I will still get it and LOVE it but i dont see myself upgrading until OC is good enough, because if I am going to get roughly same speeds there is no point in me upgrading to get more RAM when I will not use any of the extra and the NOVA display. just not worth atleast $349 starting for those 2 things until OC.

even with oc isnt enough for me to upgrade yet lol
 
What I mean by that is it would have to be a decently marginal difference and pretty noticeable difference(Going To A Random Person On The Street & Asking Them Which Phone Looks Better, Runs Faster & Smoother, And Asking Which They Would Take If I Gave Them One At That Moment).

I just paid $268 for my esteem, why the hell would I want to go out and spend 300 more on a phone that is only slightly better and a smaller screen...no brainer.
 
LoL where is everyone getting $300. Every new phone that has "newest" technology is NEVER $300 when it first arrives LoL we ALL should know. Maybe it has just been me being around MPCS for over 6-7 years and being used to seeing these things. Besides this,

I wish there was a "Like" button or "Second That" button along with a "Thanks" button HaHa

Anyone who agrees with me, press the new "Second That" and "Like" button.

I don't see there be that much more of a drastic difference considering the review on the test model on cnet

To FIX the Galaxy Indulge once it turns on for the first time and hile pressing the power button the battery cover falls off and the digitizer breaks HaHa LoL

Was told $100 rebate is history- $50 rebate for the Esteem in Metro Detroit area . $350-$50=300(ok $299):rolleyes:

Bought mine for $349-$100 rebate =$249. Sale :confused: my dupa!

If metro Detroit area anyone go see Mel @ 16 & Gratiot store(not corporate)

The Esteem did not have a rebate on release day IIRC(I could be wrong). I heard from an associate that he thinks they will have the "Bring Your Phone In And Get $50 Off" but he said that was a guess. I'm not sure what u mean by the same price... technically the Esteem is still $349 but sale priced at $300. Are you saying that the Connect will be $349 with a $100 rebate and the Esteem will be knocked down regular price to $300? I am curious because if it is that way with a $100 rebate at $250 I may buy it for the girlfriend and let HER use it and "modify/hack" it until I see that it better noticeably. Ahhhhh, now I am confused LoL fill in your prices HaHa been awake way too long.

Me personally, I was thinkin Connect @ $349 vs Esteem staying at $300(AT FIRST), possibly both having a $50 Rebate but the rebate part is only a maybe
