Root LG Esteem on Solavei

I recently joined Solavei (so far so good, i have gotten 1 trio) and I am wondering if I could use my LG esteem on the Solavei network.

I know that the esteem has a SIM card that Metro PCS provided but when I put in my solavei card my phone loses signal.

Does anyone know how to get this phone to work on the Solavei network???

The Esteem or any Metro Phone doesn't use SIM cards. They use UICC cards which controls the data for the phone.

Getting a SIM to work in an Esteem? Don't know about that one. Don't think it's possible. I would think a different firmware would have to be flashed to make it work and I dont know of anything like that. Sorry

Esteem is a CDMA phone, you need a GSM phone.
