That's Basically LG plan. And I assure you They have already thought and made some connections with Qualcomm about the latest SoC. :)

Like the way you think man. Pretty much sums up my thoughts as well. I hope RISUG doesn't cheap out on the bubbly, that's all I'm sayin.

I agree completely. Example I can draw from is, I had the original EVO 4G when it was released. It measured as 12 or 13mm thick (from the thickest point of the phone), but didn't feel that thick in person. That was partially due to the back rounding in, similar to how the G3 is. The following year, the EVO 3D was "supposed" to be thinner, but when I went to hold it in the store, it didn't feel thinner. So, I think it will be more than looks. I think the rounded corners as well as rounded back will make it feel smaller (or very similar).

Supposedly, T-mobile is likely to get it in mid-summer (maybe July). But you're correct that it hasn't hit the US yet. Sometimes, if you wander into some of those smaller cellphone shops, they sell unlocked GSM phones and will have unique ones like the Z2.
 
As an aside: does anyone know if this site will have a chatroom in the near future?

It would be fun to have these discussions in real-time.

And so it's a plan. If you're an IRC noob no problem, this is your time to learn. Instructs have been posted in the OP if you're interested in adding live chat into this. Let's be sure to keep posting in the thread though too for all the folks that aren't in on the IRC thing.

Really looking forward to this phone coming out as I am well overdue for a new phone (yes really). I've ruled out the S5, the HTC One M8 and the Z2 and stumbled across the G3 on another forum. I'd not even heard of the G2 which shows out of touch I've become but the G3 looks brilliant. Bring it on :smokingsomb:

Okay, you're new here, and when you are new, everyone is assigned a task, like an initiation. Yours is simple, go find out if the G3 will have an 801 of 805 processor. :)

The only reason I'd get the Z2 is because of the TV I'm getting, Bravia.


According to @evleaks there will be no Nexus 6 and Silver will start in February. Believe it...or not.
 
Well if that rumor is true then I might add well get the s5 because a qhd on an 801 processor is going to compromise battery life. Oh well.
