So I had my phone replaced due to the bootloop issue. The new phone was already on Marshmallow. I loaded nearly all my apps except Facebook choosing to use the it via their mobile site going forward. With about an hour of SOT during my work day I'm typically around 70 to 80% after unplugging around 6 am and leaving work around 4 pm.

I wouldn't normally buy a battery that isn't by a known brand/the OEM, but I'm utterly pissed off with the battery life on the G4, I can't see any other choice.
I'm lucky if I get 2 hours of screen on time per charge. I've tried different ROM's, kernels etc and recently bought a replacement battery but it's still terrible. This handset is probably worse than the first it replaced (but not by much).
I just finished a 13 hour shift at work and I had to charge it twice.

I've not thought to bother with replacement batteries either before but it is pretty appalling. If you do go ahead and try one let us know how it goes. I'm sure none of my previous G4s had battery as bad as this, is it perhaps worse in MM that still hasn't been sorted?

The improvement was marginal.
I'm normally vehemently opposed to 3rd Party batteries, but the one I linked is the most legit looking one I can find and I really don't know what else I can do. I've never been bothered about bulk before so the extra bit on the back doesn't overly bother me.
It's been a pretty tough month so far so I'll probably pick one up at pay day at the end of the month.
Man, I'm sorry to hear that for you guys. MM has been revelatory for me. I came from a G3 that had awesome battery life to my initial G4 that was crappy. But this replacement G4 has been amazing. With that being said, I do believe that starting with a clean device on MM probably has a lot to do with it. I've seen SOT over 4 hours. I unplug my phone each morning around 6 am and as you can see, it's past 8 pm.
