Root lg optimus v on aospcmod but unrooted! Help!

Ok so I rooted my lg optimus v with gimgerbreak and got aospcmod. I couldn't sign into my google account so I unrooted it like an idiot. Now there is like absolutley no way to go back to my 2.2.2 rom. I'm screwed. Can anyone help me to go back to my 2.2.2 version or rkot my aospcmod 7? Oh yeah and when I go into recovery volume down is my up and my talk button is my down. Also when I press the camera button it doesn't pick it.

If your ROM is working all you have to do is follow this Guide http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-...lash-zv9-update-technically-challenged-3.html

This will put the new ZV9 firmware on your phone with no root access and a stock recovery. If you decide to root and install a custom recovery that is covered as well. Then if you want to put some cool ROM's on your phone you just need to go the All Things Root sub-forum. Look in the All Things Root Guide sticky.

See that's the problem. I don't know how to reroot it. Also thanks for the link but I don't know if I could do that.
. If you guys know any other way to help me that would be great.

What recovery did you install? Please say you didn't use ROM Manager to install it. Can you still boot into recovery with the power-home-volume down combo? If so, what recovery are you running? There is a chance you can flash the ZV9 update from VM, then use gordita root method to gain root access again. Of course, this all depends on your recovery. Some recoveries will result in a brick, so please post your recovery before you try this.

Most likely yes. ROM Manager does not fully support this phone. It not install a compatible recovery and does not wipe partitions or install roms correctly. Your best bet right now is to follow Andy's advice. You might also want to read the sticky "The Truth About ROM Manager", it can be found in the All Things Root" subforum .

Couldn't he boot into recovery, wipe the rom, install a new one? And if you can't sign into Google, it's probably because you never installed gapps.

He wants to go back to stock. The easiest to do that is as already mentioned. If he does want to put a way better gingerbread ROM on his phone, The BACKside threads first post will have the necessary downloads and install instructions.
