Lurker
I'm stuck in recovery mode and the buttons on my lg optimus v do not work properly in recovery mode. I can not select anything, I taken the battery out and that did nothing. I think I may have flashed the wrong phone recovery.I cannot connect the phone thru usb to try anything that way. Is their anyway to fix the phone?

Welcome aboard. I'm sorry to hear that and hope you'll get help here on AF.

I've moved your thread to its support forum. :)

fairy1378 Which recovery did you install? All the newer ClockworkMod recovery's and it's modified variants use the camera button to make selections.

If you are using a Xionia recovery you use either the menu or home button, depends on which one you downloaded. If you select the home button and you get blank screen just hit it again and use the menu button.

Can you give us a link to the recovery that you installed? Someone can probably better assist you if they know exactly which recovery you installed.

To expound upon what Andy said about ClockworkMod recoveries; you use the Up/Down volume keys to move between the menus, and the bottom camera button (right side of phone below volume buttons) to choose an option. The only physical key on the front of the phone you would use would be the back button.

I haven't used the Xonia recoveries enough to remember the keys.

Last time a thread was moved here, (britchick88), the user didn't know it was moved and posted on my public profile wondering what happened, I'm starting to wonder if the same thing happened here

The thread should still appear for a few days in the original forum, but when they click on it from there it just brings them to here.

We don't just leave a redirect, we PM the member and let them know where the thread was moved to.

If the new member hasn't responded yet I wouldn't worry. Could be all kinds of personal reasons why they haven't yet.
