My B version rom is based on the 2.3.4 Android version, but take a a look at the updates since then:

Version 2.3.4 introduced support for voice or video chat using Google Talk.[41]

It looks like it's worth looking into to see what version of android the C and D updates are, or compiling a kernel somehow based on those newer versions of android to reap some benefit.

Was looking at that the other day...due to the Samsung Admire having a 2.3.6 update. Spending so much time on trying to correct a rebooting issue is definately depriving us of this phones full potential. Update three allready...sad very sad you know:banghead:

the kernel version didnt change. looking at the B and C kernel src there were only a few code patches added to the C's src.
