@anybody who has used the stock kernel and another kernel from chevy or p3Droid... Since the stock is optimized with this ROM, did you find performance the same or better after overclocking to 1 ghz?

Best way to make that happen is to buy the Dev a new phone! :D That's funny cause I was researching the code 7 failure and then you mentioned the ROM you were running...and surprisingly...I had never heard of it! LOL

If only that were the biggest mistake I had made this Monday...I'd be doing okay now ;)

I've been playing with P3's 1.0GHz kernel. The new ones are really good! Seems like the stock kernel gets moving a little faster...but once you swipe through screen or two...the 1.0GHz absolutely flies!

Edit: I should mention that I am running 125MHz - 1000MHz. Changing your low end clock speed to 250MHz might help speed when waking your phone up.

Were you running the Smoked Theme? Take a look at the Blueberry next to it. The B&W is part of the Smoked theme and the other themes offer more color on some of those widgets.

ok, i went from 1.3 to 1.4 and now my contacts will not update, it says "contact list is being updated please wait..."
if i open dialer one my contacts are there, but i have not been using dialer one for a little while. any ideas?
 
I'm running this ROM with the Smoked theme...ONLY complaint is the default Icons for Launcher Pro. I want the original white ones lol. I went the link posted on page 1 for the dock bar list and went to the icons section. I can only find the App drawer and Dialer/Phone Icon in white....anyone help please?
 
ok so i really liked 1.3 but i had lackluster battery life with it. has anything been done in 1.4 to increase it? id really like to go back to this rom but i couldnt even get 18 hours with 1.3 vs 28 or wo with ss 4.6

Battery life has been amazing with 1.3 and 1.4. I get through a whole day and still have 70% battery.
 
Yea it definitely sounds to me that either you need to use a Chevy kernel with my ROM or your battery is dying b/c you used it to hard or its aging.
 
Hey UBRocked, any way you could post the tangerine dock you have going there? Or at least the icons?
 
i was using my usual p3droid kernal designed for this rom. it has given me the bestbattery life reguardless of rom choice. i bought a new battery from verizon about a month ago. i may try a different kernal.
 
I was using p3droid kernal with this ROm but I had screen redraws after I took pictures. I then switched to cheveys medium voltage and no redraws.. :)

yeah i would have thought so too but i checked and media server used 43%. i have a backup of several roms including 1.3 i tried it again today before i read this post and had to flash back to a didfferent rom half way through the day. at 12:00 i was down 20% lower than usual. i am dl'ing 1.4 now im gonna wipe format and flash hope my battery life is ok because i love this rom. would you suggest i try a different kernal?
 
I just flashed on my droid and had to say, thank you sir for LFY 1.4! 1.3 was amazing, this is even better! Good job!
 
I know it was mentioned earlier, but the Smoked theme now has the Tangerine icons on the Launcher Pro bar...any way to get that one changed back Liquid? By the way, LOVE the ROM and will try to donate later this week...
 
Is there a compatible EVO theme?
I happen to be in love with this EVO theme (at least for the last day, lol)
