Root Liquid Smooth Rom 3.1

Love this rom, but I'm having issues with the hotspot cutting out. Currently, I pay for the unlimited 4g hotspot thru Verizon. I never had any issues with that Mobile Hotspot cutting out. I'm fine with paying the $30. Is there any way to use the Verizon hotspot with this rom?


11/12/11 - UPDATED: wasn't an issue with Liquid 3.1. Turns out it was a problem with the wifi connection on my iPod touch! :)
 
has anyone gotten speedtweak.sh to work on this ROM?! cant get anything to work or download for the life of me. IMO's kernel included... should i have to flash another one?

plz help! thx

Copy paste of my post from the thread you made:
You need to flash Imo 5.0.3 again to get speedtweak.sh. The included version of Imo 5.0.3 doesn't have it.
 
When I looked for the Google Music update under My Apps, it didn't show up. I searched for it, and saw it had an Update button, so I tried to update it, but got an error stating something along the lines of being an unsigned package...I can't exactly remember. I am on Version 4.0.1.501...anyone else have this issue on Liquid 3.1?

Been running MIUI as my first AOSP based ROM, and decided to try Liquid 3.1 finally after having the zip file on my phone for awhile. Just wanted to say that I'm impressed, especially when paired with GO Launcher. I wish I had tried it sooner. Guess I'll be looking into 3.2 once some of the bugs have been ironed out.
 
Sorry to bump this but I got a question...maybe it applies to more than just Liquid's ROM but since that's the first ROM I ever flashed and my current one I thought to ask it here.
What does it mean when the status bar's signal strength icon is in black and white with a a few bars lit up in white?
Sometimes I get 3G or 4G in blue with bars in blue which is obvious that my signal strength is good but when it all goes monochrome I have no idea what it's trying to tell me.

For me when that happens my data doesn't seem to be fully on i.e. can't load webpages. Usually after few seconds it switches to blue and my data works again.
