Looking for a GOOD quality mp3 player

You have to understand that some people fail to separate the reality of listening to music via a cell phone and true monitoring of audio playback. I have an array of wired headphones, but would otherwise consider your suggestion.

This is true. And for any audio listening done inside my house, i'd choose wired over wireless any day. But for a mobile phone, cords just get in the way and ultimately defeat any sort of mobility purpose. That and the fact that wired headphones on this phone are a complete fail. Trust me when I tell you, the freepulse ones (logitech) are phenomenal.

I have tried a lot of bluetooth headphones in my quest for the perfect ones. Most of them try and combine a headset into the headphones which makes them suck and sound low. The freepulse ones actually are just headphones and are very loud with superb quality.

Using bluetooth headphones, my music sounds fine with the HTC music player. it is nice and loud and awesome.

Same here....I tested functionality on my bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth car stereo connection, car usb connection and just playing out of the phones speaker.....all worked superbly in comparison to our ipod and Iphone 3g. Did find that I had a bum aux cable though......
