Root Looking For A ROM

I am new to rooting. I am wondering if there is a ROM that would be like the sprint lovers minus the bloatware with the following:

Gingerbread or newer
Sense 3.0
Wireless-N back
All the "Fat" trimmed out so it is streamlined and runs quicker with better battery life.
Runs stable

I don't want to flash my ROM nightly or anything like that. Maybe I need a kernel too? I am not sure. I am not really sure how to find all available ROM's out there either. If anyone knows if what I am looking for exists please let me know.

try mik3d. it is still in beta but it is a very solid rom. my favorite for sure so far. gonna try the EVOlvedROM r3chargeD RC1 "Just Another Sense 3.0 Port"

battery life will depend more on the kernel then the rom. there is only two kernels out the golden monkey 1.1 and the freedom kernels. you can get them in the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/284413-roms-kernels-download-page.html sticky.

Close to stock, sense 3.0, plus a bunch o goodies. Make a nandroid and try it out, you won't regret it.
As for kernels, I run the Golden Monkey 1.1 but i might give one of the freedom versions a try.

If that Rom isn't your style try MikG 2.45. It's sense 2.1 with some 3.0 in there. Rock solid Rom IMHO. I love them both honestly.

Edit: Ocn snuck in there, LOL.
 
I'll pipe in to basically agree with above:

If you want a ROM that you can flash and then not worry about, flash MikG 2.45. It is super rock-solid.
 
I would say either do Mik3d or Mik 2.45. Those are all great ones to start off with once, you get use to flashing and setting up ROMs you may to try something else out. You may also want to try the Golden Monkey or freedom kernels to boost battery life and performance.
 
Excellent advice as always. I haven't felt the need to post as I have been lurking. Every time I have a question, I find some similar question with excellent answers. Figured now was as good a time as any to make the first post, and say that these forums have been excellent for my first rooting experience.

AF is the best place on the net, hands down. xda is ok, but there to many jerks over there. the only people there that i trust are the devs. this is the best place to come for help and to learn. i learned everything form this place. i had joined a few other sites, but people here were always helpful and friendly.

now get your root on and try some roms like mikg2.45. i'm flashing the evolved sense 3.0 rom as we speak.
 
Can you let us know your impressions on evolved sense 3.0 ocnbrze? I just flashed mik3d but still want to break it in before I test others. Thanks!

Definitely. Flashed me some Mik3d and the Golden Monkey 1.1. Love it! I will swing with this for a time and then try the evolved sense 3.0 in the next day or two.

Evolved sense 3.0 is based off of Mik3D. It is a rom that is themed.

I'm more of stock look rom flasher so..... but if you like themed roms this one is nice:)
 
Thanks for all the input. I am gonna try out the Mik3d ROM. Would like to know how the Evolved one turns out as well.
