Root Lost MMS and internet

Newbie
Hoping for someone to save me. I lost MMS and internet a few weeks ago. Bought a used Supersonic PC36100 with Kernel 2.6.35.10-Chopsuey-v.9.2.6+
2.3.5
htc sense ver 3.5
I've red threads for atleast 10 hours and can't find a fix. Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!!!
 
I'd recommend asking in our root forum so I moving your question there.

I'm not familiar with that particular setup, but it's certainly custom and no doubt someone here will know or have an idea.
 
I don't believe this is the correct section, this is for HTC 3VO, unless I am missing something here.
 
NOt sure. I thought it was an htc evo 3d (Supersonic 3D Model#PC36100).
LOL -now I'M confused :)

Branded Sprint and on Sprint network. Inet works on wifi only...

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
 
The Sprint one is PG86100, where did you buy it from, do you have a Sprint contract with it, no clue where the Supersonic comes from ?? Take a picture of it and post it for the heck of it.

Also Possitive its a PC36100 eventhough the picture looks like it says PG38100. Very ironic you said that though!!! :)
 
Just a quick Google search says the supersonic pc36100 is aka evo 4g....

Ps. All those images say Page not found when I tried to look at them...
 
Do you have any service contract with this phone? Have you activated it with your carrier?
If you do have a phone plan, I'm wondering if this phone is flashed to another carrier. Isn't that usually where these Mms issues occur?

Sorry about the pics.

Yeah, it says sprint>4g on the back. Working fine on Sprint until recently.
Lost mms and wed like a week or 2 ago. All still works fine but for the mms/inet unless i'm on my wifi

Something is weird here, where are you getting that number from, also you can check in the about phone, Go to settings/about phone, and click on phone Identity, let me know what it says there

Hmm... Did you flash a new rom or kernel or radio before the trouble started?

Before we get drastic, it may be helpful to post a thread in the Evo 4g board.

As for getting drastic if no fix can be found, you can probably run an RUU and return to stock to see if it solves the problem. You would have to re-root afterward. (assuming it's still possible to root).

Easier, tell us if the back of your phone had 2 camera lenses. and on the side do you have a switch to switch between 2D and 3D

The number comes from the back of the phone in the bat case. The info from phone identity:
Ohone name
megus 2012

Model number
Supersonic3D

Meid etc...
 
I have no clue what that is, never heard not it, and you say it is hooked up on the Sprint network ?? If you post your screen shot of what it looks like, it will be easier to distinguish.

No switch. only vol up/dn. 2 led/diods and a cam lense on the back. Guess they modded the syst so much that it's unrecocgnizable...(internally)

Ok this is the Evo 4g. The original evo. I own one with a broken screen now but I never rooted it. Now I think I will fix the screen and root it for fun.


It might be helpful to ask your question here: evo 4g all things root

Don't think I'm telling you to leave this board. I will gladly still troubleshoot with you! You will just have more resources if you post there too and possibly someone with an answer.

Either way I'm sure after trying some different things we can eventually get it fixed.
