Root Lost My MEID

I have a samsung sch-r720 with my meid now reset to B0000000. On my main launcher screen I have the following text:

Channel:30600
SIO MODE: U1-DM USB_NULL
S/W Version: r720 etc etc
Baseband version: r720 etc etc
h/w Version r720 etc etc

I get some force closure issues with a couple of programs and the lock screen dont work im hoping by putting the imei number back in as the meid, this will resolve these problems. Unfortunately I cant get the phone to connect to QPST it says server is running, 1 ports, 1 clients but says no phone ??? any ideas??

This is a completely different phone, I am going to get a mod/guide to move you to the right place, the ways of fixing stuff like this on a Samsung is entirely different.

Its not wonky. Just wordy lol but I think it easy to follow but maybe that's just cause ive been around for a few months now

Im interested in knowing how you nerfed it. Did you install the EH29 corporate utility for the vitality by any chance?? or did you flash something else?

What errors did you get ??

Oh no I never messed up my meid. Ive soft bricked a couple times and yes ive ran the generic update before but that didn't zero me out. I was.simply answering the guy a couple posts up, the Admire forum has few active members now, kinda sad :/ , so I'm just trying to keep it alive. How did you zero yours out though? O.o

I messed it up when flashing the corporate vitality utility Eh29. Recently ive been flashing it successfully with another usb port on the same computer so most likely it was related to this. Ive sinced had the PCB replaced so it could have been related to that also. It would be helpful if ahernandez4110 could tell us what he did and what problems it caused.

I am hopefully going to get my lg motion 4g this week and may be the samsung will be passed on. The admire/ vitality do not have multi mode gps ops i..e network and standalone mode, so i cant use the gps in hot boot mode off the cell network, it only cold/ warm boots once per boot. So i guess i may be off to the motion forum in the near future myself. o(
 
Hi pedro I was on CM10 then went to cwm to go back to my stock rom nand back up and forgot ti wipe data and dalv cache and thats when I lost signal. Lost all my radio settings like Mdn min meid was in B0000000 and I still havent found a solution...

What phone do you have? I am guessing it is not the Samsung Admire...

i think everyone should make a backup of their phone with qpst. its backup feature is perfect for that "oh shit i zeroed my phone again" situation. You can always fix your screw ups. Just dont go restoring your backups and making copies!!! lmfao.

Sadly i just opened a lot of eyes with that comment cause they hadnt of thunk it first. lol. im such a bitch.

Yup agreed i would like to know how to do this too. I know its possible with lgpst. So i guess you can use qpst. A how to then buddy?
 
i suggest just playing with qpst to figure it out. i could tell u boys but then a girl needs to keep some secrets.
i will say the backup does come handy in certain situations....bah bah black sheep lmfao.
 
Im not sure about prl (or is it prn) data though. Ive read somewhere before that you should back this up too, but i know nothing about this. Im of network at the moment so i doubt that would apply to me. I think this is not related to qpst.
