in my signature is the link for sbfing back to .340 and then flashing the prerooted ota of gb .596

i have flashed that file numerous times so go ahead and try that one, it may be different, and it might be the same thing you were downloading.

just redownload it and try again

we both know sometimes downloading from the toolbox will cause an error, which may have happened, he may not know he is rooted, but it never hurts to try again

Or it may be a case in which he thinks it's not rooted and tried to use z4root and found it didn't work.

this is true, but superuser is on the app list, and you should instantly start getting the all famous allow deny super user permission when you first start it up with rooted apps like dx/d2 bootstrapper

That is also true. Sometimes SU can mess up and you have to reinstall a good copy. It has happened to me twice. It could be because of flashing GB. I noticed SU being broken after I flashed GB.

its always good to download terminal emulator and type in su
if it turns to the # sign i think its rooted i just know its either $ or # not 100% sure :p

i will do what they all do
/thread

did it work?

MOD EDIT: It would seem so!!! :D Look at you! All big and strong! ;)

GUIDE EDIT: That is so wrong to toy with my emotions!
