sorry I passed out myself... i wiped 3 times and flashed the mikrom. this took me back to recovery after the reboot- Good- Bad?
on lunch guys i'll have to reach out to ya later on. Hey, thanks for everything. I appreciate you for explaining these things so i can learn myself! Talk soon!
Try a fresh download of the rom
Download it to your computer, boot into recovery, plug the phone in, look for an option in recovery to "mount usb-ms" and select it. That will mount your phone as a usb device so that you can transfer the rom from the computer to the sd card. After the transfer, unmount the phone, wipe and flash
OK, so I DL the wrong mikrom file. I DL the (update) not the full "full wipe version." I over thought the process and turned out to be way easier than I thought. Thanks for helping me through the process and now fully rooted. Would you suggest clock-work mod next and any other necessary apps.? :smokingsomb:

ok, im running mikrom. Do boot animation zips give you the tools to theme out your device? are they specific themes that have to be flashed everytime you want to change your theme? I need a quick explanation of these boot animators.
I was running CM7 on my other EVO and it seemed that once you got "theme chooser you could just get different themes from the market and install...
The XDA link from previous members on on this site is kinda confusing...
Are Boot animation zips themes or something different? And if so, do I have to flash these files from my SD every time i want to change a theme?
And OK no CWM...thanks for the heads up
I noticed your post after the fact, sorry bout that. To be honest, I really liked CM7 when i ran it on my last htc. I know roms are specific to themes and kernels(thanks to you fellas)...Is there a stable, newer version of CM with a gapps link that can be thought of? What recovery will work best with CM? Also, what else will i need to run CM--Cant remember and dont trust other sources!!see my previous post about what a bootanimation is.......but basically no bootanimations are not themes....and it will depend on the bootanimation.
post a link and i can help you out with the one you are interested in.
deck's reloaded is a much better version of cm7 IMO........[ROM][LOTK] Deck's ReLoaded .500 RLS [1-31-13]
as for themes on it, i'm not sure....i usually go with the nova prime launcher and use beautiful widgets and even desktop visualizer to theme my icons and widgets.
decks reloaded link is bad cant seem to find one on the thread you sent
Good man, I must not have my eyes peeled apart enough. And a kernel that is specific to this ROM? do I still need a ASOP or will the kernel do??very bottom of the first post....click on download>>>>should take to lotk.net(their own site)....scroll down again to find download from dev host.
anyways here is the link:
Dev-Host - ReLoaded_500_RLS.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
links work for me.

outstanding! I will follow up with you soon my friendall roms comes with kernels including reloaded. i think jamie only used the cm kernel....so if you want a custom kernel then yes you will need an aosp kernel.
