low memory alert - how do I clear sent & deleted from Exchange email

Did a search but couldn't find anything on this. I don't have a single song on my Eris. And probably only about 20 pics. Very vew apps. Which tells me this is all based on my email file. I sync'd up both the Sent Items and the Deleted Items about a week ago and I'm betting that stuff has filled up my card.

If there a way to clear those two buckets? I really don't need Deleted and Sent on my phone. Didn't realize it would take so much room on the card. Anybody have any ideas?

This erases the mailbox completely from the Mail app, which I don't think JCUMV wants to do.

I ended up doing the above. Re-entered the Exchange settings and all is good.
