Lurker
Hi, I recently bricked my phone (long story short I had a friend root my phone then accidentally installed the update when it began popping up), it was at a point where it would turn on, then be stuk at the LG logo. I couldn't get into recovery mode, and the computer wouldnt recognize the phone. I followed a guide for unbricking my phone that I saw posted on here, and realized all too late that it was for the Optimus M, not S. I desperately need to get my phone back to working( 1 month no phone :( ). Currently, when I turn the phone on or plug it into a powersource, the backlight and the hardkeys lightup, then I hear the MetroPCS powerup message, and that's it. The screen stays black the entire time, unless i press the back or unlock button; at that point the backlight will come on, but thats it. I'm thinking that I accidentally flashed my phone to MetroPCS, but that I didnt complete the phone recovery. I have LGNPST, and am looking for the .bin files for the LG Optimus S. I need my phone to be S or VM, just not MetroPCS. I have the drivers for the Optimus S, and the .dll file and the .xml file, but I need the .bin to complete. Any help finding this file would be uber appreciated, and also, if you know of another de-bricking method I am open to comments!
