Mine do.The fix can be found here
[ROM]{1/6} FroShedYo V.10 FIX! [CM6.2-RC1]Blue|Red|Purple|Elegant|Pink][CPUBoost] - xda-developers
Under 'V10' look for this
FIX: Flash this after you flash the ROM to fix Black on Black issue with submenus: FIX2.FroShedYo.V10_Submenu-Black-Font-Fix.zip
Download the fix from the link there, and flash the zip file from recovery like you do when flashing a new ROM.
I said it in a different thread, I'll say it here too. I've found his vanilla ROM to be much easier on my old eyes than the regular V10. You might want to take a look at that also.
I am going to try vanilla. Before I posted the question I did download it(the fix) and moved it to my sd card, booted into recovery but it wasn't there.

That's wierd... I downloaded the fix too, along with vanilla and it's gapps file. Moved them all to my sd card and when I booted into recovery they were all there. Could you look at the file on your puter? Maybe it got corrupted or you accidentally changed the name some how.
I havent flashed the fix yet,I like vanilla pretty well. Its alot like the 2.2.1 on my stock droid 1. If you like v10 for the theme, you may not be so fond of vanilla. If you like v10 for it's smoothness and stability, definately give vanilla a shot. On my phone, vanilla runs even smoother than than v10 did.
I prolly will restore my v10,flash the fix,and play with it some more. But I think FroShedYo vanilla is my favorite so far
Whats the difference between the two gapps?
so i dont really know if they were different or notwhen i downloaded the fix, itwas titled "FIX.FroShedYo.V10_Submenu-Black-Font-Fix.zip"
as far as the 2 gapps, one is supposed to be more basic(i think) without twitter and facebook. i clicked on that one... but it looked like the files had the same name?so i dont really know if they were different or not
edit: looking on xda again, the files are different at the top of the post. if you DO want facebook, maps, twitter, etc, flash the 20101218 file at the top of the post imediently after flashing vanilla. if you dont want them, flash the 20101213 file.
I think I'll try Vanilla for a couple of days. That's wierd because I flashed 20101218 and I got all that junk.

if you DO want facebook, maps, twitter, etc, flash the 20101218 file
lol looks like you just confirmed what i said
i flashed the 20101213 fine and dint get it.
I don't suppose it can be unflashed and replaced with the other one.Whoops, That's what happens with us older folk when we don't wear our reading glasses.I don't suppose it can be unflashed and replaced with the other one.

The easiest way to remove the GApps that you don't want is to use Titanium Backup. It has an 'uninstall' feature.

I'm in TI and I don't see it. What should I be looking for?![]()

on the main screen touch back/restore in the middle. it should then list all your apps. touch the app you want and it will bring up a screen that you can select backup, freeze, uninstall, run app, restore, wipe data, delete. just pick uninstall.
in other threads its been suggested to freeze them first for a couple days and make sure it doesnt hurt something elsewhere. im sure youre safe with facebook and twitter, but if you have any doubt about wether your phone will work without an app, prolly not a bad idea to freeze it first.
i just used it to remove rom manager. i couldnt find anything else that i really didnt think i might need, except maybe the stock browser. but i left it on for now![]()
I got the paid ver a while back. I have rom manager also but haven't used it because I don't see anybody talk about it. Have you tried it?
hopefully my phone wont care,so far it doesnt seem to miss it,lol.I generally get rid of all the social networking apps - twitter, facebook, that sort of thing. Apparently I'm not a very social creature...![]()

ROM Manager is a part of CyanogenMod, so I'm pretty sure that's why it's included. It has a reputation for bricking Erises, but I think that is exaggerated myself. Though I have never used it myself, I understand that it has some nice features compared with Amon's, including the ability to select ROMs without the whole download, move to the root of SD, restart the phone in Recovery, etc., plus I think it makes it easier to update ROMs that you install with it. Also, if you want to install ShadowRom, if they ever get that finished, you need to use Clockwork. As I understand it, one cool thing about the ROM Manager update is that you can use it without flashing over Amon's Recovery - it restarts the phone and runs a stub of ROM Manager to finish the backup, install, etc.
Unless you want to try ShadowROM (again, if they ever finish it), there is no reason not to uninstall it, though.
