Root Maintain user dictionary between ROM installs

The only way that i can keep my user dictionary is to not do a full wipe, ive tried backing up both handcent and the standard messaging app (in TI, in case youre wondering) and restoring app and data when restoring to no avail.... any ideas?

Titanium Backup will do the job, saves user dictionaries, SMS messages, WAP's, all that good stuff.

ive been using TiB for some time now, and i lose the user dictionary every time i do a full wipe and restore app and data in TiB

The dictionary is a system file associatedbwith the keyboard. Open titanium choose back up restore. Press filters.. search dictionary. It doesn't always work....typically requires you use the same keyboard on each rom

What keyboard are you using? It's pretty easy to even backup the db file it's using without even having to bother with TB.

ahhhh, so its a db file in the system folder then? oh, sorry... im using the standard keyboard in cm7
