ok so I updated, and I didn't see much of a real difference, except for the keyboard, but it all feels and look mainly the same. I wouldmn't worry to much about having problems updating if and when you do.

I didn't know you can netflix from the evo phone, can you?
was the update pushed to you? Or did you manually check or manually install ? what area are you in ? .. sorry for all the questions .. thanks in advance !
No, not yet. But an app is supposedly coming soon.
My point is, I already pay for Netflix, so I'd be upset if Blockbuster isn't able to be uninstalled. (Since I won't use it)
I manually did it, went to my settings and clicked on the HTC update, then it downloaded, and installed, Im also in Southern California.
I take it this is an update for stock phones? I am rooted so I cant update correct?
I'm not seeing the update on my phone. Is it rolling out in phases or something?

I just got a tweet on my phone a hour ago that Evo owners are getting a software update but when I try updating its telling me I have the current update. Can anyone tell me when were supposed get this update? Does anyone have it yet?
I feel like this made my bad battery substantially worse. It also killed my Swype install, so I'm going to have to do a factory reset to get it all back. Hopefully the reset will take care of all of my battery issues, as well.
Thing was fine when I bought it two weeks ago, now it's just atrocious. Using 50% in under 2 hours.![]()
