malware warning

Sorry, my fault. I divided by zero.

Sends shivers down the spine of an old surfer.

^yes, my Norton/Symantec Security software said "Web Attack: Malicious Toolkit Website 9" and also said this laptop is protected. The alert info said it's a malwebsite from Poland that must have injected itself here.

No warning here this time from Firefox 9.0.1 but the AF 'menu banner' thingy has just gone tits-up for me again, listing all options in one long list.

I'm getting the warning on just about everything I open. This reply is the first time I haven't seen the malware warning in about 15 minutes.

I am seeing the "Reported Attack" warning on the right side in a small box at the bottom of threads where the handset description and rating is present. I have included a picture below.

I also went to the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for malware threats and saw this: Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for androidforums.com . I have scanned with Malwarebytes and turned up nothing though. It seems that the malware link has already been disabled or Adblock Plus, which I use, is blocking it.

I got the warning a few days ago "blackout day" or whatever that was... so I ignored it. I got it again today. No problem in Chrome, but happens every time I try to access this site with Firefox.

edit: talked too soon, just got it Chrome going to the other linked thread above.

edit2: can get on ignoring the warnings... here's my screen when I first try:

all of a sudden,(just started happening today), when i bring up android forums, i get a warning page from google, this is what it says.....
"Warning: Something's Not Right Here!
androidforums.com contains content from phandroid.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.
We have already notified phandroid.com that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on phandroid.com, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page."

All joking aside, it really is pissing me off.

Not as bad as me worried that I'm not seeing it this time around. I feel left out! :(

O.o I see it when I use google chrome, don't know about other browsers. When I use my phone I don't get a warning though...

What is happening to Phandroid? Is someone attacking it trying to get peoples info? This is the second time in less than a week :(

I'm getting the same thing. I think the adblocking extension I've got is blocking whatever ads are injecting the malware.
