Man, this is a big phone

I actually didn't know this thread existed, but I was thinking about the G-Nex size today, so I printed out a scale picture of it. I will be coming from a D2, and a 7 year history of devices with 3.7" screens.

I was actually surprised by how the printed version didn't feel big. I thought it was totally reasonable, and it actually made me more excited.

I absolutely love my Nexus One. I got my N1 after owning a REALLY old phone for more years than I care to remember! So I went from the dark ages to super modern. I never realised just how much I would use it as my mini personal computer. I am on the move a lot due to caring for livestock and nursing 90 year old parents. I have discovered that I now use my phone more as a computer than as a phone. I am very interested in getting this new Nexus as I think I will like the bigger screen for browsing etc. I was worried about the size but then I think to myself, I am carrying something round that is actually my computer, how cool is it that it will fit into a pocket at all! I think my eyes might be grateful too.

Impossible subjective question, but I'll chance asking it anyway, I love the metal feel of my N1, does anyone know how the G-Nex will feel in comparison? Does it feel plasticky?

Remember back when everything was getting smaller, smaller, smaller? Big is the new small.:p

The PERFECT sized phone today, thats balanced between big and small is... ..[Hide]

Exactly! I was on the smaller kick! At the time ivhad a phone smallrr than a business card. It was an ATT (I THINK it had a motorola logo. It was so tiny , the display was a single line with the "dots" making up the numbers or characters..

But today, Im a fellow BIGSTER.. ...and workn on something bigger...

I've got the T-Mobile SGS2 and man I love this phone. Its screen is beautiful, it's fast and I love the size of it. If the Gnex is the same OR even better....I'll be on cloud 9. Not keeping the SGS2 but needed something to replace my slow as molasses in January OG Droid. Either that or I was going to destroy it from frustration. It's very nice to have a large, beautiful screen. :D
