Hi guys, i have a few questions for you.
I will receive my phone tomorrow so help me out plz ^^
1.1) First what about wallpapers ? I know the hero has a resolution of 320x480 but looking at this thread

it seems to be rather buggy
The phone doesn't like certain resolutions or ...?
1.2)-I spent some time looking for cool 320x480 wallpapers, are they useless ?
1.3)-Should i look for 640x480 like on g1wallz ??
1.4)-What about the aspect ratio of a wallpaper like this one.

1.5)-Won't it have some stretch aspect ?
2) I never had a smartphone but i am the kind of person always modding my computer.I am not a noob on windows, but never put my hand on an android phone.The phone I am gonna receive comes with the official rom.
2.1)-Except being able to load third party application what is available on rooted hero not available for non rooted one ?
2.2)-About updating my phone, I know it deletes my files but I heard I can make a backup of settings and apps . How can I do it ?
2.3)-I Bought a 8 giga micro sd card, is there any need to partition it ?
2.4)-Is modaco custom rom more stable than official version?
2.5)-Does the modder of this rom updates it often?
2.6)-For people who use it, why would you recommend it to me ?
2.7)-Is there any malus with using a modded rom ? I am still able to use android marker by example ? (< I guess its a stupid question *-*)
3) Any idea/rumor when will be the new official rom available ?
4.1) I dont want to do it but i wondered, can you use a generic android version on a htc hero or have you to wait for htc versions ?
4.2)-I know android is open source (right ?) but htc version is not right ?
4.3)-So we can't really mod whatever we want ?
5)What about themes ?
5.1)-Is there any theme available for htc hero ?If yes where ?
5.2)-Do themes add icon replacement ?
6.1)I heard there is different models of htc hero depending on the location like euro hero or american hero.
6.2)-I also read certain heros come with different hardware ? Can you help me out ?
7.1)I also read bluetooth file sharing doesn't work at all, is it true ?
7.2)Is it a missing function ?
7.3)If yes is it available on custom roms?
7.4)Will it be available on the new update ?
8.1)Can I replace default applications ? like the camera by camera zoom fx?
