Root Market Problems

Ive been getting error messages while trying to download apps. Its really annoying. I recently tried another rom, but I didn't like it. So I restored my backup of Backside. And I keep getting this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think it is the market. I got the same message a couple of days ago.

Except I got it on my HP Touchpad I bought recently that's running CM9. So I don't think its your phone.

I havent seen any reports of it.
I asked my friend to try to download the same application on his Droid 3 and it worked while my V gave me the error. Its getting super annoying.
A solution to this problem would help a lot.

I got it trying to download the Netflix app. A couple days later I was able to get it without error.

If you read through this thread, you'll see other weirdness going on with the market.

Try going into your apps in settings, click on Google Play and just erase the data and cache.
It worked for me.

EDIT: I think only some applications are doing it. I had the same issue with the same app even after erasing my data and cache.

Well my little so called 'fix' isn't working anymore. And now I can't download any app what so ever. It's getting pretty frustrating.

Have you tried flashing a different ROM to see if it's BACKside specific (I doubt it).

Sounds like a market issue, I haven't received such an error making any purchases.

Yep, got the same error with Netflix using completely different hardware as AngryTeddyBear got using his phone with a different app.

Yeah. Im now on the Harmonia ROM.
It still has the old market and it works. Ill go back to Backside today and check if it works. I think its just Google Play.

Have you checked your credit card information? My card expired without me realizing once so I wasn't even able to get free apps from Amazon.

EDIT: Guess what?! It worked!
I erased my credit card info on Google Wallet and it just works now.
