Root Massive problems with clockwork

i would advise against the virtualbox method its utter babba you have to keep faffing about with usb and with a risky procedure like this i would not like to be unplugging and replugging usb

if you dont have a cd burner or cd spare try using vmware player instead as ive heard its a little better for alpharev than virtualbox

if you s-off you need to do the following

backup rom
use alpharev
restore rom if its corrupted (probably wont corrupt it though)

there is no need to wipe as you are already on a sense rom

be aware if you move to amonRA 2.0.1 you cannot restore any clockworkmod nandroids as you will end up with a usb brick (and vice verse)
 
Ah ,ok ,so the best way is via burning the iso to a cd...got it :)

Yeah i know a diff.recovery cant restore a backup from a previous rec. :) logical.

So to be 100% clear on this (as i am very cautious of these procedures).

*decided not to do a backup,gonna just flash the same rom i have,not really a bother to me.

burn cd
do the alpharev s-off
go into fastboot and flash Amonra rec.
put a new rom
live long and prosper ;)
right ?
