Root Md5sum mismatch

Johnny Crapple

I backed up the zvd stock ROM with cwm that came in the aio but then I flashed cwm in ROM manager. I went to restore the stock zvd backup but it said md5 mismatch so I ran the aio to get that other cwm back. I tried to restore then and got the same message. Also ROM manager says I still have the one I flashed in the app. I just want to restore the stock zvd.

I put the backup in a new folder with the name zvdstockrooted
put it back in the clockworkmod/backup folder.. that name should be fine though with no spaces..

only other thing would be it got corrupted somehow.. shouldn't matter which recovery you have as long as it cwm for esteem and above v.3 (which would be impossible to have anything under v.3 on esteem lol)

I've got to where I label all my backups like this

33012.ZVB.GSE.TXCUSER

I try to MAKE DAMN SURE I remember what backup is what because I tend to make so many when Im in testing mode. :D

I've calmed down lately so I think I only have about 4 backups on my SD right now. lol

You have to be careful renaming backups or you will get the md5sum mismatch error. I finally just learned to read how cwm names em n leave em be lol
