Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][4.4.2][Weekly] SlimKat-d2lte [5.6]

Has anyone paired their phone to their car? When I spoke to my gf, she said that she could barely hear a word and that there was a lot of garbled sounds in the background. I restored my rom back to Carbon 4.2.2 and she said that I sounded crystal clear.

Not sure i know i had the same problem when pairing a bluetooth speaker as well.

Bluetooth head set worked fine, but the speaker did not.

Is anyone else having an issue with Connecting you phone to your computer via USB. eg. your computer or phone not even recognizing each other or your phone not giving you the usb connected notification , your computer saying your device in malfunctioning

I already have the driver for my device installed

I had the same problem. I have two usb port on front of mine pc. I have to switch back and forth several time for mine pc to recognize mine device.

happen with a few rom I install, I think it had to do with the rom and not you device or pc.

Was anyone else having issues changing dpi? I started at 245,and couldn't change it to 320. I didn't have that problem with Slim4.2.2

Beta4 was the best they had with the PA Gapps. This stable doesn't appear to be so stable afterall lol

well I found a solution...to my problem anyway. The slim gapps wasn't working right on build 1 so I used PA gapps instead.

OK, so I figured out how to change my LCD density. I just didn't sign into my Google account UNTIL I changed my density. As of right now, it seems completely stable. Even my downloaded songs on Rhapsody work!

Nope, sorry. Rhapsody still won't play, & menu button freezes

Did your backup come from a TW rom? I had that issue before... I had to make 2 separate backups for Rhapsody. One for TW(extCard) and AOSP(sdcard1). I don't know if your situation is the same, but I figured I'd post my solution :D

Is the 4g to Wifi issue still present on the stable build? I didn't think it would bother me that much, but any it's getting annoying. I'm on Beta 5 but to me there's no point in upgrading if that issue is still there!

Does PA gapps give you per app density settings?
No sir. Density is for the whole system.

No, my backup was from CM's 4.3. but I even did a complete wipe & it still messed up my Rhapsody. But it's working now with the PA gapps.

The wifi to 4g issue is not on Stable 1.

Aw man, I updated to the Stable build, but I still have the 4g problem. I wiped everything and did a clean install of the build, but it didn't work! Ah well, guess I'll have to deal with it for now. Thanks for the reply, though!

did you make a backup of what "was" working?

Yup. I just restored back to my stock rooted ROM and figure I'll just reinstall this ROM once the issue is no longer present for me in one of the future builds.

OK. Good luck. & remember that not all phones react the same. But this will be my last bit of advice. I'm goin on to the S4. Hope everything works ok for you

ive never flashed a rom before and now ive decided i want the purest form of android I can get. this rom looks awesome, everyone seems to love it, and looks like stock android on a nexus. So, do I just need to download "Slim-d2mtr-4.3.build.1-OFFICIAL.zip" and what about the all important Gapps? As I said, never done this before, i have somewhat of an idea how to do it, but not being near a metro store at moment I really don't wanna mess it up haha

thanks in advance for help and the great community work going on here

Yep, that's the latest version of the ROM. You will find the gapps here http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/d...83-addons/5569-slim-minimal-gapps-4-3-build-1

Make sure you put the ROM and gapps on external SD, boot into recovery, wipe system/data/cache/dalvik then flash the ROM and gapps, reboot and have fun.
