It seems like this rom still has that issue where the quality of picture messaging gets blurred... and I use picture messaging a LOT. Any fix for this? I just started to enjoy this rom again.
If not can you suggest a aosp rom that doesnt have this issue

Most AOSP devs base their work on cm, so almost everything that's broken in cm is broken on nearly ever other AOSP ROM

i think one of the MMS.apk on either carbon rom or BB7 can fix that problem...

Being rooted and installing ROMs aren't mutually exclusive.

Its entirely possible to install a non rooted ROM

Lol didn't know that. Everything I've read says to root to install a custom ROM

I've been on 427 for about 4 hours now with the BMS kernel and have had zero reboots. (usually it would have been at least ten by now) anybody else want to give it a shot here it is...

Release canidate. Basically means it's ready. You can download from rom manager or goo.

Well I just had a reboot in less than 5 minutes of use. Lol. Installed BMS latest and all is well.

P.S. Make sure you download and install accordingly. Check your about phone kernel to see which one you need. (if you're on a nightly later then 318 you will need to download the 3.4 kernel)

Will this work on any aosp rom like deviant?
Also no link for metro, buy I'm assuming the one for vzw/usc is the right one

Yes, aosp kernels will work for any aosp roms as long as theyre bases on the same linux version. Theyre all based on cm anyway


Bms is one of the better kernels out there.

none on stock kernel so far. I'm even tethering with it, which for me was when it usually rebooted the most. so far so good.

You won't be disapointed. Now that they worked everything out, I'm waiting for blackbean or aokp to build from it so I can check them out.

quick thread jack, how do you like your tab 2? Everybody on Craigslist around my area want retail or even over retail for the nexus 10 (dont know what the hell they're thinking) so I'm thinking about getting one instead.

Mess with the settings in camera and see if it freezes and gallery force closes. Had to reboot cause it wouldn't connect to camera. Thats the only problem I had.

It was when I put my finger on the screen and the little circle menu would pop up then changing the timer for a pic or the say cheese to take a pic.
