Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 Nightly Builds for d2mtr

Hey, Many Thanks to several of you, and especially Shabby. I'm now running CM 10.0.0 with TWRP 2.5.0.0 for recovery. CM seems to be a real improvement over stock MPCS. Best, Andrei

good to hear.
All of the roms are an improvement over stock mpcs. Why dont you float around the waters and see what you like best. Id stick with cm but i need my pic messaging. and cm crops it too much.
Im currently on AXIS and metropolis is about to get an upgrade.

Best way to find out if it's the cable or rom would be to try that cable on stock.

I'm on 5/19 nightly and everything is working but long sms. (that has never, probably never will) no big deal I just manually split them.
 
Been away from here for a minute. Trying out some of the other ROMs. On Deviant for about a month, & like it a lot. But I agree with someone said on another thread about staying with the inhouse dev roms. So I'm loading 5/25 nightly, & staying home.
Quick ques though, has anyone tried the release candidates, & what is so special about them?
 
Ahh i've just have my first random reboot on RC2 !!! I was on twitter and when i tried to Retweet it just rebooted. Are the Nightlies any better than the Rc2 ?

what's the main differences between this rom and other 4.2 roms based of this. Im on carbon right now and i want to know whats the difference because ive been meaning to come back

If you like carbon then there's no reason to come back. It's built off cm with added features. I personally like my roms as light as possible. I delete most unnecessary stuff so cm is perfect for me. Even my stock backup is stripped to the bones. :)

AHH great i guess ill stay then. probably only going to last a few days until metropolis update comes tho :P
but yeah i like my roms loaded with stuff.
i loved goodness but the battery life sucked

Have you tried hyper? It's pretty good, only thing i didn't like was the four way screen rotation. I had it on my tablet, not sure if the s3 version is like that but man it was annoying. Lol

is that how you did it? or did you do a clean install? rc3 is running pretty nicely and i dont wanna screw it up.

i been around man just no time to do anything really, so yeah, no new pics :(

I actually did a clean install, but judging from the changelog there doesn't seem to be a whole lot that would require it. I do clean installs every night so it's become almost automatic i get through the settings pretty fast. Apps backup takes care of the rest.
