Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 Nightly Builds for d2mtr

damn that freaked me out...same thing happened here. funny thing is that i did an nv restore and then restored my backup of rc4 and got my 4g back. rc4 has been working fine for me...i wonder whats wrong with rc5?

do you think if i did an nv restore while on rc5 it would make the 4g work?

I actually tried that and it didn't work. I'm back on rc4 also. Did your 4g work at first too? I'm not sure why it stopped.

yeah 4g doesn't work on RC5 after two different tries and full wipes. to get it back, i had to flash back to stock using shabby's firmware and then factory reset from within the Touchwiz settings to get it back.

4g has worked perfect on rc4. it never worked at all on rc5

On RC5 my 4g worked on first boot after installation. I rebooted after deleting my usual unwanted apps and was only able to get 3g. Did another reboot to try and fix and then was only able to get 1x.

A simple nv backup and restore would have saved you a whole lot of trouble.

hey can someone do me a favor? if your currently running this rom, could you flash this file and test if the "My Metro" app works for you :D

make a backup first!!!

flash the zip file right in recovery ;)

You want us to flash it over rc5 to see if it fixes data correct?

what...? LOL does data not work on this rom? sorry I haven't kept up with it.. this is the "My Metro" App and the required lib file, it works on other TW roms I can confirm that, but haven't tried it on a CM rom yet.. so im just curious if it'll work lol

I have two accounts. Both with the $55 promotional unlimited plan. :D

Best Deal ever bro!! I got the exact same thing except I only pay 95. You might want to look into it. Cause sometimes rep stores don't mention when you first get the account that they added Metro backup and Metro id crap which is an extra 5 bucks and you don't even use it. I didn't know of it until I spoke with a customer service rep and he explained all the extra features I had and I ask him to discontinue all of them cause. .... That's what root is for; )

Cool. Thanks I'll be sure to ask next time I'm in there. 👍 👍

This version of cyangenmod was much smoother however i check some new roms for nexus s on freeandroidrom.com which prove to be good.

ok since the cm maintainers arent gunna post here, the binaries needed to be updated for teh sch-r530 devices. they have new blobs so starting today it should be fixed :)

Dude your freaking everywhere! :)

Kind of glad though. Even though i haven't touched this rom in a while, i like to keep up with it just in case some thing revolutionary is made lolz.

Me too. I haven't used cm in quite a while. It's a good rom & all, but a lil plain for me

I experienced some malfunctions in CM10.0.0, after updating BusyBox using the Smart Update feature in Stephen Stericson's BusyBox installer, downloaded from the Play store. Specifically, Apollo and File Manager would crash. After restoring with TWRP, to a point taken just before updating BusyBox, Apollo still would crash. After reflashing CM and Gapps, all is OK. So, the question from this rank amateur is:

Could the BusyBox Smart Update affect items installed upon flashing, but not upon restoring?

Is anybody try cm? I didn't update for the last a week and two b/c of 4G not working, if anyone tried it can let me know which one is working, please I'm still on RC-4.
