trying to see if mod/admins give us our own gs3 lounge its absurd trying to ask general question about our phone when it is slightly different plus when users needs to ask something about our service we dont need people from at&t or t-mobile coming in there giving their 2 cents. just saying but hopefully we will get our own mtero pcs gs3 sub section

Here's a thought: if they don't provide a Metro subsection just put metro in brackets like so [MetroPCS]. It'll stand out and you should be able to search on that as well.

Remember the forum is free and these guys to an amazing job. Saying something that is illogical to do is absurd IS absurd. Just being honest homie

The moderators/admins of AF already mentioned this, and suggest doing that. It's not that hard of a thing to do, and it makes things clear.
Look, the SGS3 is a "universal" device, in that all carriers have it, therefore, having a section for each device is kind off less efficient, because then the aspects of the device that are relevant to ALL SGS3s will be repeated. Think of all the tips & tricks thread you'd see everywhere.
Or battery life suggestion/help/monitoring thead.
Or Cases and accessories available.
Or USB OTG support
Or gaming/console emulators support
Or ...
The list goes on an on, and having 5 to 6 versions of these threads with the same content will get wasteful. Really fast.
Also, remember, most of the folks here on AndroidForums, myself included, are using this service free of charge. It's not really up to us to dictate how they allocate their precious resources, although suggestions are welcomed.
I think they are doing a great job so far in creating one of the friendliest online fora I've ever participated in. Let's try to show them our appreciation too.

Metropcs related subjects ---> Metro forum section
SGS3 general subjets ---> SGS3 main forum section, with no custom prefix.
SGS3 metro specific non-root subjects ---> SGS3 main forum section, with [metroPCS] as prefix
SGS3 metro root subjects ---> SGS3 metro root forum section (this section)
It's not that hard to follow that rule.

The esteem isn't strung out across 4 different carriers.
Every phone within this forum that is on multiple carriers is combined in the non root forum.
General questions about the phone doesn't differ, it's the same phone. If it's service related then you head right on over to the carrier section.
Plus, i would rather have 4 times the people offer help than just the people limited to the forum I'm in.
Oh yeah, the forum is free and has a suggestion section.
And being that the main contributors to the gs3 root forum, not talking about myself here in any way, for y'all might not have the s3 on metro, you might wanna be careful what you wish for when you say you don't want att and t mobile users chiming in.
your root forum could be empty right now.And I'm not affiliated with t mobile in any way so if your going to name call at least make it factual.

If y'all want an s3 metro section for general questions, go start your own private group. We did this with the esteem even though once it was opened no one used it. Go figure.
Utilize what the forum has to offer instead of complaining because it's free and it doesn't cater to each individual.
Even if there were premium members in here that have actually donated, it still wouldnt constitute saying how this forum should be ran. This is something you speak to the owner or a mod about privately and NOT publicly.

thanks anyways fuzz but trust me they're are more comfortable with the way ive mentioned than the way it is now. but your suggestions are always appreciated. anyways i just got contacted by admin hes willing to take the matter into consideration he told me if ya have enough people that want a seperate metro pcs gs3 sub section just to go to a link he sent me i believe suggestion link and have ya post ya comments about it so as soon as im home ill probaly create a thread there and have ya comment for support thanks guys.

Your s3 is the same as everyone else's s3. There's no point to have 5+ different sections just because they are on different carriers. It'll just cause the same questions to be asked and answered 5 different times
This idea has been brought up and shot down plenty of times.
If its metro related talk about it in metropcs. If its root related keep it here. If its general s3 discussion it belongs in the general section
