after you write all your system info and spc's and all that with cdma workshop and qpst, what do i do next? do i flash a new rom and flash scripts? then call metro pcs? and if i do, is the esn number i give them going to work so i can talk and text and all that good stuff? HELP!!!

first you get someone to put your esn in the metropcs system (if you need someone let me know and i can help you) then you write all the information with cdma workshop and qpst, and finally flash a rom and scripts (if needed)

So other than wiping Dalvik and caches then flashing my rom what else am I suppose to be doing because its worked fine with all 6 Roms I have used? ? ?

its always good to wipe EVERYTHING! i use superwipe before flashing a rom just so the rom runs as smooth as it can

I can't post any screenshots right now but its just like cm7 (because it is) just a metro version. If your ESN is already in the system you can add it to metro and only pay 40 a month

Mikg, sos, synergy and many others have everything working. I've always had to flash the script, change the mms network settings, and then swap apns

hey guys this is a great thread for metrodroids so thanks alot! but i have a totaly newb question.. i have an evo4g still on sprint that i want to change to metropcs. i need to know the ABC's of doing this here's what i've done so far; rooted and s=off flashed metrodroid rom succesfully ran cdma workshop and qpst and made all the changes succesfully except for adding a MIN number since i dont have it yet i added my current cell number because i want it ported to metropcs. Q: is this phone ready to be added to metropcs network? ANY ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED COOL FORUM!!! KARMAKID

All you need is someone to add your esn into the metropcs system and you're good to go

I'm currently on the Samsung Galaxy Indulge and want to upgrade my phone soon. I was looking at the Connect at Metro, but heard about flashing the HTC to MetroPCS. I'm really interested in doing this and just have some questions:
1. No 4g, just 3g and 1x - correct?
2. I'm not dumb with phones and computers and likely could flash it myself with the instructions, but how difficult has it been for everyone?
3. What OS is it on? (GB, ICS, JB)
4. So if flashed I'll get the whole shabang - talk, text, web (I believe the answers yes, just making sure )
5. How has everyone liked their flashed phone?

hello i am new to this and i bought the cdma to switch my metropcs number to my sprint evo 4g. So i think i did most of the steps right. but the evo wont place a call or text or get on the web. Is there anyway you could help me i have been trying to get this done for about 4weeks now and it is driving me crazy. If you could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Your phone's esn has to be added to the metropcs system first. That is a must or you just have a sprint phone still. have you done that? If not, you should check this guide out:

Okay i have been working on this all day. I finally just put the Meid from my samsung Freeform 3 Through CDMA and wrote it to my HTC evo 4G which actually works the only issue I have is that i cant call out but i can receive calls messages and also the internet works great but i cant receive picture message but i can text.Is there anything that i can do to get this to work properly? does anyone know???
