The CM11 build needs a lot of ramdisk work


here is a utility that can pack a ramdisk and zImage and then Loki it so that can be flashed, this should make it a lot easier for people to join in and get the ramdisk finished

also if you want to compile new kernel zImages with the kernel source, you can use this utility to pack the new zImage with the ramdisk

there are 4 ramdisks

CM11 - cm11
TWRP - twrp
Stock JB (500) Boot - boot-stk-jb
Stock KK (505) Boot - boot-stk-kk
Stock JB Recovery - recovery-stk-jb

There are 3 zImages

zImagecm11, zImagejb, zImagekk



You need a Linux computer

unzip f6_packer.zip to your home/user folder

To pack the cm11

open terminal

cd ~/f6_packer
./cm11pak.pl cm11

To pack the TWRP

open terminal

cd ~/f6_packer
./recpak.pl twrp

To pack the Stock JB recovery (not sure why you would do this)

open terminal

cd ~/f6_packer
./recpak.pl recovery-stk-jb

To pack Kernel for Stock JB ROM

open terminal

cd ~/f6_packer
./stk-jb-btpak.pl boot-stk-jb

To pack Kernel for KK PORT ROM

open terminal

cd ~/f6_packer
./stk-kk-btpak.pl boot-stk-kk
