First of all Thank you for the ROM. i installed the miniVOA2.zip from the previous post. I works nicely on my LF F6.
Previously with the stock ROM i used to get 3 - 4 bars for the cellular reception. Now it is always 5 bars. I wonder if this is for real.

I notice two things.

*) Battery drains up fast. When I look at what is draining the battery, it is mostly "Cell standby" and "Phone Idle" processes. Is there something that can be tweaked so that the battery usage is improved?

*) click on 'Messaging' -> 'Settings' -> 'Emergency alerts'. It crashes the Messaging tool. Is there a way to fix this?

thanks in advance for any solutions.

I'd be glad to try and help you. I just need to ask you a few questions to help you get going. First off did you wipe All your partitions before flashing
The kit kat Rom? Are you on tmobile or metro and what results does Speedtest state. In system what is your signal db displaying. Giving the Rom a few days of battery cycles Will improve performance and power usage. Make sure your E911 is updated by carrier or in mymetro app.
Thanks for trying LG F6 Kit Kat Rom.
Please thank Hroark13 for his work.

@viperdink Thank you for the reply

Yes i did wipe all the partitions before flashing.
I'm on GIV mobile (www.givmobile.com). I've setup the APN for GIV mobile and it works nicely for me.
I ran a speed test. I get 10MB/s and my phone is using 4Glte.
please let me know how to find out the signal db in the system.
So you knw... Your signal will drop a bit depending of ur coverage. That had happened to me when was using f6 on every Rom that i flashed thnks to the radio... all the KK builts for that f6 are based on EU.source so the radios turn to go a bit wild looking for signal... And of course lime I said ur providers coverage.

You can find your your signal strength in ; settings/about phone//status/ signal strength.
You will get fluctuating Data of; # dBm # asu. Goggle can help you interpreted the numbers better and faster than I could here.
There are real time apps on playstore to verify this data. I like one by "Lakshman", Its just called "Network Signal".
Give that app a try. It does have a lot of info you will be interested in. After you are satisfied with the info you get,
Put a copy of the app on your External Sd card for later use. Then uninstall the app in "settings/applications,
it does use battery since it is in Real time.

Thanks for Trying LG F6 VOA Kit Kat Mini Rom.

The Device seems to be responding to the carriers signal correctly.
You could try the different APN settings in this Link;
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php/1800510-Windows-Phone-8-settings
Create the different settings in there own APN profiles in settings/network and test and
compare them for optimum Data Speeds. Turning on or off Roaming will effect speeds and power usage of the Device on a carrier. When your data speed is the greatest,
Your device should be most efficient.

Thank you so much @viperdink for your reply. I've setup my phone with the APN settings from GIV mobile's site https://www.givmobile.com/support/faq

There is another process which also seem to consume much battery. It is "Phone Idle" process. Please see the attached screenshot. Normally one would expect this process to keep the phone idle and not consume battery. Wonder why this consumes much power.

The Screen is usually the greatest consumer of the Battery Power.
The Cell Standby is second most . It is the Devices Radio.
If you tap this in "Setting/System/Battery" should indicate Time on and Time without Signal.
Hope this Helped and your battery use has gotten better.
If you Ever think your Battery has a problem a good indicator of a problem with it can be checked.
Remove your devices Battery and set it on a flat surface. Try to see if it is swollen.
Then try to spin it. If it spins freely get a new Battery.

Thanks for trying LG F6 US Kit Kat Rom.

The biggest difference is that no sock puppets were used in the making of the voa2 not like the hijack attempt in post #71 of this thread.

Voa2 worked perfectly on the 10i ver 1 firmware of the F6 with no patches needed when i had this device before deving on 3 newer updated devices I've had since then.

Thanks for trying the
US kitkat lg F6 Mini ROM.

THANK and SUPPORT HROARK13.
