Root [MetroPCS] [WIP][ROM] Flashable Rooted 12B Stock Rom

still having issues installing and its a fresh download idk what its doing it goes to install system and then BOOM!!! fail. Followed the instructions and everything
 
dunno if it's the same issue as him but for me this is the error:

I'm using pressy4pie's CWM v6.0.4.6 installed using his f6utilities.apk

I've tried installing the rom several times and gotten that same result each time. Luckily I had learned my lesson from earlier problems and backed up the phone before I started messing with CWM.
 
I updated my phone to 12b yesterday, i just bought this phone 4 days ago. if i do a factory reset will it take away the 12b update? Wish i would have known
 
I believe so, i cant find the page i seen last night on this site. I would like to get back to firmware i for metropcsto see. Idk about this phone now. I used to love tether on my motion and full access
 
People on T-Mobile were using metropcs firmware or something because after that mobile hotspot worked. I have metropcs but i updated before i learned about this phone. Errr
 
Re-downloaded the file. Attempted installing again using the same method. The same error message as in my earlier post was repeated.
 
Hey no prob man. I'm gonna try to get stuff figured out on my end just because I'm stubborn (and because my fiancee who has the same phone really wants me to get our phones optimized better and is threatening to use money we could be putting towards the wedding on a better phone if I don't) but I understand life totally.

EDIT:

I'm gonna try to hang out on the irc you posted earlier in the thread just in case you need someone to do some grunt work testing for you and can't find another victim. I'm not a programmer, but I know enough about rooting and stuff that I should be able to just be handed a ROM if you want someone to try out a fix, and I'm good at following directions if there's anything else I can do to help you out.
 
yeah i just wish they would make a phone that just has the basics like alarm clock, keyboard ,a simple browser, phone, messaging, maybe a few usable apps like quickremote, obviously play store. of course the other basics. otherwise we wouldnt really need root other than to overclock and do some hacks.
