Root [MetroPCS] wtf going backward? b12 update

They are probably going back so when they update in Q3 July To September they could use the letter K

Tried OTA update while rooted and now im stuck in recovery Any ideas on how to get my phone back working? Im going to try to update it with the lg mobile support tool but it says I don't have enough battery so im going to see if it charges and then try it later.

Thank you for replying! I was able to fix it by using the kdz unbrick method Thought I was going to have to go back to my esteem:bawling: Now to update through the support tool

but make sure to use this KDZ file for the lg F6 instead of F3 one!

your phone will return back to stock and you will lose root btw, Good luck

this still isn't working for me, running 12b, factory reset, then I downloaded frameroot selected gandalf,, then it closed automatically after a couple seconds, opened install.bat and ran it with phone on ptp camera mode, then i ran kringo but it still fails...tried multiple times

Use kingo not my rooting guide

You do use framaroot, well it worked for me.

Did you get superuser binary error when you opened supersu? And framaroot is supposed to close after a couple seconds right?

Uninstall SuperSU and start over, run framaroot and gandalf then use kingo

Just tried like 3 times, using ptp method, still no luck.

SuperS doesn't install unless I use the install.bat thingy..do I need it to run with kringo?
so when I was running kringo I had no SuperS installed

i tried the update and now my phone is stuck on cwm i tried installing lg mobile tool thing and i need admin permission is there a way to bybass that if not then im really screwed???

Well, IT WORKED

Hello Trevor. If you remember, would you mind telling what you did that you think made it work? Did you do the Volume Down and Power button reset? Did you update through LG Mobile support tool?
Did you do both? Or do you think it was something else?

I installed Framaroot.apk latest edition.
Opened it and Clicked on Gimli.
Then used and installed http://goo.gl/chwkVs (Disregarded Errors)
Then installed latest version of KingoRoot 1.2.2.1915
Put phone into LG Software mode and clicked Root on Kingo.
2 minutes later phone was rooted.
