I installed yesterday and tested over night. its nice to see that all the bugs i was just about to write are taken care of in this update. I will Re-flash and test the update now. i will take notes and post back if i find more bugs...

I did try that and still the same issue for me, but I did not do a full wipe to install the new AIO. I will try that later thanks.

Hey dakman thanks a lot for this ROM, most things I tested are working or working better then the last jb ROM I was using (gangnam style) like camcorder recordings playing in gallery and vvm. However one bug I noticed that wasn't already reported was when on xda and trying to open team dirts aokp thread the browser just closes, same happens when opening team dirts slim bean thread. I don't know if its something in the OP of the thread or maybe an ad away conflict...but it hasn't happened to me on other jb 4.1.2 ROMs. Anyway thanks for the great ROM and with only 1 release its amazing.


P.S. ROM control or A.s.s would be nice

I must not have flashed it then. I got so many of them PG86thing on my laptop that I forget which ones are for radio and stuff

Following ramjet's suggestion when I was having issues with my phone, I actually just ran the RUU, fully updated everything via OTA while stock, then flashed rom. So I havent touched the evo 3d guide, all ive really flashed firmware wise since then was hboot 1.50. I am S-Off

Before I start, let me say this is a awesome rom. When I installed this rom, I did a full wipe (twice). I have discovered a few issues that need mentioning. I use the mlive and news and weather apps quite frequently. I downloaded them straight from the market instead of restoring the backups. When I go into these apps and click on a news article, it will automactically kick me out of the app. After several times of clicking on a article, then it will reboot but it gets stuck in a bootloop. I have to do a battery pull to remedy the situation. I have also noticed that at times when I reboot, it gets caught in a bootloop, I have to do the battery pull.
Also, when someone leaves me a voicemail, I get that annoying text message, which I know was mentioned that that would happen. I am using webroot secure antivirus suite which has the capability to block numbers. I will block the 9016 that sends me a text saying that I have a voicemail message but it also blocks it from going into the voicemail app too. Is this sender (9016), somehow also sending my message to my voice mail app too?? When I unblock the number, I get the annoying text message along with the message on my voicemail app. I just want the message on my voicemail app, not the text, is there a way to do this??

I'm on HBOOT 1.04 S-off and smart flash is off in 4EXT. I did a full wipe an installed it but it won't boot past the HTC screen. What would I do to fix it

Edit: And now my backup of the ROM I had before is doing the same thing.

Also to change the toggles would be nice. I don't need a GPS toggle but I'd love an autorotate toggle.

This is a great rom, so far no problems on my end. If anyone is annoyed by the voicemail text messages download an app to block certain numbers and block the number you get the text from (9016 for me). I use the app "Mr. Number".

Toggles are now up ^_^

There's also a tip in the page that has the download for the AOKP version of VVM:


I haven't tested it since I use Google Voice but it would avoid having to install an app if it works.

Already got that installed ^_^ The reason you get a text is cause of how visual voicemail works. It basically gets a notification through a text message that it got a new voicemail, then starts downloading it.

Good tip as always ramjet, that's a better solution.

One bug I'm noticing is my capacitive buttons are blinking bright to dim at a frequency of about 2 hz. I turned the lights off in kernel tuner, but I'd rather have them enabled. Anyone else experiencing this?

See if it's fixed in this version.

Just put the hboot posted in the OP in the root of your sd card, then go into bootloader! itll do the rest ^_^

My guess is since this is the first release we will see that in later builds. Goal right now is probably just to have the rom working stably.

ok guys I did some digging and MAC Kernel is broken... rather than flash MAC just install Anthrax works like a Charm!!! the ROM is SMOOTH!!!!! but MAC don't work saddly.'

btw Thank you for this amazing rom can't wait for the bugs and kernel to be fixed other than that beautiful job as always Midnight is amazing.

Mac kernel is for sense i believe. I'm still looking into kernel alternatives.

Flashed ROM now my phone won't turn on and my computer won't recognize it.

What hboot version do you have?

When u put out another update for this ROM will goo manager update this ROM or do we manually download the updated rom?

Flashed this ROM last night and... wow. Easily the quickest and smoothest jelly bean ROM of the 7 or so jb ROMs I've had on this phone. It doesn't have some of the settings I like that other ROMs do, but it was only released yesterday. I have no doubt that updates will roll out adding different functions and settings. Great work man, it is greatly appreciated.

So far everything is working fine for me. MMS goes through without any extra work, 3g is good, as is WiFi. Haven't noticed any major problems yet.

Does this not have the advanced slim settings (A.S.S.)? The link you had put up for the beta looked like it was based on slim bean. Was there a need to remove A.S.S. , DakMan, to get your stuff to work? I have to say, I really like A.S.S.

I found two issues one of them reported, when opening gmail and reading an email, it closes automatically.
Stock web-browser you can open it but if you search for something and using the links that appear it closes as well.

The text is how the voicemail app works "behind the scenes" in sense. Basically, you get a text that's hidden from virgin mobile saying you have a new voicemail. This triggers VVM to start the download of it. There's no real way of stopping it showing up because it isn't an htc mms app that auto hides it.

Nevermind, I went and googled AC!D and it looks like it has its own equalizer and everything. Looks pretty sweet actually.
