Root Mik G v1.04

Mendoz

Lurker
I flashed the Mik G v1.04 and now i Dont recieve Messages, I can send them but nothing comes back. I did everything that i read with wipeing (full wipe) But nothing ,,I tried to go back to a earlier nandroid back up but still no messaging. And i cant seem to find anything on this,, Please help? Should i do a factory reset, and start all over again?

You might want to double wipe in recovery before attempting to reflash, that's what I did and 1.04 runs superbly smooth for me w/o hiccups

It's never a bad idea to re-download the rom before you reflash if you had a buggy install. I did once and the new file was like 50 bytes larger, abd it worked the second time.

Some of the mirrors are unreliable.

Try this.
Go under menu / settings / phone updates / update prl. Then update profile. Make sure you are in a Sprint service area, I've done this while roaming and it pissed with me.
Try that and see if it works.

Thanks guys, but now I have a diffrent problem,,I accidently wiped my Sd card. "FML" Need help!

o snap! Did you back it up to your PC? I assume not because if you did you wouldn't have created this thread.

Did you happen to back up your nandroids to your PC?
Is everything else working?

If you didn't, don't worry, theres always a way to get you a rom loaded if you bork your phone. The most important thing about a nandroid is you have a WORKING backup. Doesn't matter that it's stock or not, its a useable backup. ;)

I would make a nandroid asap. Then transfer it to your pc so you got a useable nandroid for these situations.

and if you use amon ra recovery make a nandroid backup with your wimax key backed up as well. but if you use clockwork mod then you should be ok as it automatically does that for you.
