Root Mikfroyo 4.4 rom download

Hm, what kind of stability issues are you having? Is it related to what you were seeing before your unroot/reroot?
 
No. Just stuff stops working. Phone starts hanging. Maybe just a fluke. I am going to give it another day or two. Other than that there are silly things like white text inputs fields with white text. That is minor and found on just about any theme

And for the record I am prolly just cranky from lack of sleep :p

I assume you tried reflashing it? I suppose if you tried other kernels, though, that may or may not help. I've noticed a few things like white text on white menus. Like you said, it's going to happen on any theme. There's no way around it when you start changing colors. Some apps just don't assume certain things were changed.

And yes, I see you up later than I am sometimes, and you're a few timezones ahead of me :eek:. lol.
 
I flashed this rom a short while ago, and my phone froze up in recovery as soon as it said it was done installing. Pulled the battery, and did a normal restart and the rom is up and running. Weird.
 
hmmm, hopefully just a random fluke, I've had absolutely 0 issues with the rom, solid as rock, hope you like it
 
I deleted the removed_xxxx folder containing alarms, notofications, and ringtones after flashing mikfroyo 4.4 not knowing it was still being used :(.

any advise how can i restore/recreate this folder please

got it, opened the zip and there they are. i put back the deleted folders from the zip file and works like a charm. thanks y'all
 
i will try and look here in a bit. do you have a backup of the files?

I'm back on mikfroyo now. not sure why it wouldn't work before but it appears to be working now

Thinking of making the jump over to MiK from Myn. Hearing a lot of good things about MiKFroyo. I'm not really into the super dark, flat theme of Myn's, and also have a glitch where the front-facing camera saves pictures upside down.

Definitely give it a try. Its fast and uses a lot less space when installed.

I went from Fresh 3.5.0.1 to Mikfroyo 4.4 and am very happy with the Rom. Going to play with a few kernels on it but so far (about 7 days) I love it.
 
Day 4 on Mik's still love it and found one little glitch??
In mikmarket, I am not allowed to leave comments.
is anyone else able to leave comments? again... not a deal breaker for me.
 
any having any issues with 4.4? my .flv files won't play anymore and overclock widget won't accept manual settings.
 
Thanks going to flash this. Also, is there a theme that would work with this rom to make the status bar and dock transparent? A theme or metamorph?

I saw in another thread that the comments in market issue is fixed in 4.5 beta 2.
