Help Mobile network/internet not turning on.

Okay sorry if this has been mentioned before but im have major problems with my desire. The mobile network is stuck on turning on and hasnt turned on for the last 30 mins or so.

Ive tried turning the phone off and also removing the battery but still no luck. It still says ''turning on'' when i go into settings.

I dont no if theres something wrong with the phone as i don't think its the network because i can still make calls and the bars are stuck on two.

I'm on orange and they normally have good reception/network.
 
Had something similar earlier this evening, also on Orange. Did eventually get a data connection, but now it seems to be doing the same thing again. Good GSM voice signal, but no data. Assume it's a network problem.
 
Where are you guys?.I've been having the same problem on orange since 5 pm in Swansea 11pm now and still not working!
 
Yeah mine's not turning on. Connected briefly for a few secs but dropped again.

Definitely an Orange problem. Usually get a good connection here.
 
Same problem all morning. Got a data connection when I had an incoming call but nothing since. Phone has been fine until now.
 
Its defo an Orange thing. They now have a message on the Cust service number, saying that there is a problem with GPRS, affecting email and Internet.

Must be Nationwide for them to do that !!!!
 
The problem's still going on. I'm in London and have no mobile data whatsoever (GRPS or 3G). I've just walked from Embankment to the top of Tottenham Court Road and back, through Covent Garden, and not a bean. I thought it was my phone until I read this. Nothing personal, but I'm glad others are experiencing the same as me!
 
Having the same problem here on Orange. Odd that its affecting my widget to turn mobile data off. Although I am able to turn it off by pressing the power button and choosing the mobile data option
 
it was sorted for a bit nut now is back to 'broke', ive had a few problems with calls too, my girlfriend tryed to ring me and said it was ringing but the call didnt appear on my fone or in call history :S work that one out
 
I live in the Kent area and for the last 2 hours I have been experiencing the same problem.

Everything seems to be okay now, well for moment at least.
 
Nothing here in Warrington, no GPRS or 3G.

Considering I changed over to Orange yesterday, I'm far from impressed so far.
