Nope... that was either a fluke, or mistake on my part... like he said - sound on = "unable to extract frame"... sound all the way down and set to vibrate = working.
My bad. lol

Working like a champ bro.....couldn't ask for more...just glad the workaround/riddle is solved..can't really call it a fix like some advertise with a billboard...but its 100% now and that makes the Esteem complete to me.

I know we have everything up in running concerning the mod figured i'd drop a jewel on anyone willing to learn about the android camera so that next time there is a problem a fix can be made from the info taught here

I cant install this, im using a custom rom #2
and i cant paste this to the specified directory, i had it working before, i decided to install a custom rom after my phone had constant rebooting issues after locking the screen then attempting to unlock it.

Custom Rom fixed the issues, now i cant install this camera mod

i just got root explorer, il check it out and see what happens.

I just re rooted my phone using that AIO tool used option 2 i believe to have cwm
